Interestingly (well I think so!) it seems the club has amended the away end selling priority....this is taken from the Brum website which was updated yesterday:

Away fans are seated in the South Stand at the Amex. Brighton have requested that Blues sell tickets behind the goal first, which is different to what was previously stated.
Ticket prices
Adults: £28.00
Senior Citizens (Over 65): £20.00
Under 18s: £14.00
Under 10s: £7.00

They have been given 2000 tickets for the game so far. They don't appear to be close to requesting more. In addition, there is no mention of the 34 quid tickets.

For this reason, expect to see about 1200 pricey tickets in the ESL (aka blocks S1A and S1B) go on sale real soon, when brum confirm they don't need them

Ipswich are only selling seats in the South stand too, allocated 1200 according to their website.

In which case we should also be able to buys seats in S1B and S1F (assume their 1200 is in S1B, S1C and S1D, which is the corners and first block of the south proper) and the normal ones in the south and west stands.

Well that defeats the whole object of having Albion fans behind the goal. What happened against Wednesday, won't happen again. Club have f***ed this up IMO. The East and West lower wings should have a different price to the centre seats. Then they could sell the corners first.

Why does that defeat the whole object of having Albion fans behind the goal? Surely we sold those tickets before any spares from Brum went on sale on the east side?

Guess they are thinking that Albion fans are more likely to buy the pricier seats. It seems more and more decisions are now money orientated.

Give them a break for goodness sake. We're 3 games into the season, in a radically altered stadium from last year, and they have already implemented changes to the ticketing sales for home and away fans. We've had three record crowds in a row, about to be a fourth. We have the ticket exchange, 4 match ticket packages that have been snapped up, and additional season tickets gone on sale. Do you really think they are f***ing it up, or just getting used to having 20,000 (that's twenty thousand) more fans coming to watch the Albion every week than this time 18 months ago.

People complain when the away fans are charged the higher prices. People now complain when our fans are offered those tickets. The club can't win.
