He loves scoring from cutting in from the right and then spanking it into the top left hand corner! March > Adingra > Mazuli. The right hand side is sorted for years to come 😁
Not necessarily, they could all be Chelsea flops inside 2 years.

Adingra is primarily a left winger though. He would appear to be the successor to Mitoma if anything.

He is scoring nice goals but he is also very far from being a dependable player in atop league and not a finished product (of course, given his age that wouldn't be a good sign). Saw him play 2 full games in Conference League (well, he only lasted 73 minutes at home and just a first half in the second away game) and for every brilliant move there were couple of silly mistakes. And the opposition was crap tbf.

Still hope to see great things from the youngster in the future but he is still at least a couple of years away.

Him and big Tudor currently playing (and losing) against former players Niki Mäenpää and Bojan Radulović (who has 2 today) in the Europa Conference league play offs. Small world!

USG can buy him though? We could then buy him from them next season, or the one after that.
i suspect that there are some rules around this in that we might have to pay his real value at that time. If there are not then it is indeed a loophole that should probably be filled.

They can’t buy him as we’ve already agreed a deal to be completed in January (all contracts will have been agreed and signed ready for the opening of the transfer window, he couldn’t join in the summer window as he only turned 18 in September). Besides which UEFA would see straight though a sudden change and him joining USG.

He won’t need to go out on loan for work permit reasons as he’ll automatically qualify under the exceptional youngster criteria. If he needs to go out on loan for experience there will be no end of clubs interested.

Surely a buy back option with fee agreed would cover all bases

Sell on clause? Guessing his current club would insist on that, and there'd be all sorts of issues if USG bought for say 8m, then sold to us for broadly similar, effectively invalidating any sell on clause!

Unless it was written in from day one like that, but then UEFA may well investigate if they've made it a condition of our EL involvement, and there's no way club would risk getting kicked from EL for a raw 17yo kid.

So maybe no USG after all!

Fair enough - I didn't realise we'd actually pre-signed him, or whatever the deal is classed as. Half a season with the U21s then, to let him settle in, loan next season if he's not first team ready? Not sure packing him off for a half season loan the minute he arrives would be helpful.

The club announced back in July we'd agreed to sign him (see post #74) of this thread.
