It is intriguing before the season even finished we announced Caicedo & Mac were off, as well as losing Mwepu last season - but we’ve not really planned ahead for it and are struggling to secure targets.

We signed Dahoud early doors, we are obviously looking to get a Caicedo replacement in but now we MUST sign someone to replace a player injured 2 days ago or the club have let RDZ down? Bit much imo.

Why would it have impacted? Replacement was in place in the role and we brought in a fair number of players early that were clearly priority. Pedro Milner Dahoud, Romanian kid, julio all brought in quickly and efficiently. Seems the Lille midfielder is edging forward which is the only area we haven't replaced in terms of Caicedo and beyond that potentially other South Americans as per normal being lined up and it’s only the injury to Ensico that may force us into the market unexpectedly. Club is doing a good job.
