The rain band isn’t as far south as expected it’s meant to pivot slightly south later today but it also being dragged away NE, as usual with LP tracks across the UK.
Met office weather app/BBC currently say heavy rain but it’s been dry at the ground for the last hour or so according to reports...
Accuweather says clear till about 1pm now…. It’s been the top dog in forecasts this weekend so 🤞 at the moment the band of rain seems to be just skirting Manchester atm

Accuweather minutecast which I normally find extremely accurate says no more significant rain till circa 4pm now, expected a complete wash out today but looks like there will definitely be some overs bowled, even after 5pm it doesn’t look like consistent downpours
Few hours break in the rain now, with further heavy rain this evening, if we could even get 10 overs in these conditions that would be a bonus in day that looked a right off.

BBC forecast is a bit rubbish, the Sunday rain will be more scattered showers than a significant band of consistent rain like Saturday.
I reckon there will be plenty of play today.
Saturday will be a wash out but I think we will get a fair amount of play today and Sunday, conditions will be ripe for bowling as well, get another 100 quickly this morning then declare, we have to be ultra aggressive to force a result.
