Good to see Nick Cave appearing in a number of the charts in the previous post. Stylistically lush, very atmospheric and a nice change in direction with all the usual hallmarks in his lyrics.

Nice to see you have the Apparat album in your top 10. Some good stuff in your 20 and you have similar taste to me so I will take note of the albums I do not recognize.

Electronic. It is grounded in techno but it is very varied and tuneful and nods to a lot of genres.

Just been listening to Sic Alps again after a break of a few months. It's a great album and suits the moody weather.

That Shit****ers ablum sounds interesting. I'm really pleased Daniel Avery is making a lot of top 10s. If you like electronic music and/or dance music you really must check out his Fabric Mix and his debut long player. There is nothing ground breaking on it but what he does he does very very well.

Hi. You really should. Start with Queen of Denmark then move onto Pale Green Ghosts. Knowing your taste I really do not think you will be disappointed. He is an immense song writing talent and his voice is incredible. Saw him live earlier this year; wonderful.

One question. Is the packing they use good quality? I used to buy stuff from Resident but about half the packages I received has been squashed or cracked/broken in transit.

That Dan Avery long player is great..was playing it a short while ago.

Wow, I have bought 4 of their top 5 and 15 in total from theirs. It seems I have a lot more in common with Rough Trade than Resident.

It's not a joke, it's just a list compiled by the handful of people who work in the shop; I do not think it claims to be anything more than this and it certainly is not.
