I had the pleasure of meeting Nigel (Alex Dawson) on Saturday, albeit briefly, a real gent. Hope to see you at the Amex too, soon Cornish.

As others have said, a mighty "Wel Done" and fantastic news for you & your family. I bet the odd Albion defeat is just a mere piffling issue for you now, as it should be. It's good to see the bigger picture and enjoy what we have.

An inspiration. This thread has been tough going at times but only a fraction to what you, and others, are going through. Really fantasic news!

Think you are going to be mobbed tomorrow! This is an outcome that just didn't seem possible when you opened the thread and it's been an inspiration to all, not just your efforts but others who are also battling on and I'm sure the kinship must have helped. I'm in the East tomorrow but...

It'll be a real shame for you to have to miss it but i suppose you have to weigh up the long term risks and missing a game or 2 now may mean you make the rest of the season rather than possibly being laid up for months. All the best to you, cornish, and any others currently suffering poor health.

Having just had the mearest taste of my 1st hospital sleepover, plus an impending but relativly simple op, I have even more admiration for you guys with more serious stuff have to put up with. Keep those spirits up and well done to all at the NHS.

Ah but the inner strength and character, something you may not even know you had, is just as vital as what the good doctors can do for you. Keep up the fight and enjoy life. So glad to hear that the pain is so much less now too.

I'd like to echo the above comment. Often it's hard to think of something witty or useful to add to the posts but i imagine there's a whole lot of people following your respective stories and wishing you all the best.
