Scored against us and looked dangerous. Got some decent ratings. Agree about last night though. One moment when WB just showed him the line and made a clean tackle effortlessly summed it up
You’re not looking hard enough then.
I’ve been to more or less every home game and a good number of aways before and after Covid. He’s a marmite player. Brilliant when on it but disappears when not. That happens in a lot of mid season games and less when we’re using a white ball. It’s been...
Interesting. Martinelli was outstanding at the start of this season so maybe he’s dropped off a bit. Yeah they’re bound to start him in the cup. But if they get Lazy Leandro in that game?
He will. And his agent will “forget” he ever made that comment about three games on the bench.
Good player - cultured even - but only when he wants to. And not going to displace Saka or Martinelli for a starting spot
Nonsense. Potter fell out with Ryan and Maupay and Cucurella handed in a transfer request.
My overall feeling on this is surprise at how little we've missed him. Would have been third or fourth name on my teamsheet at the start of the season. But with Mitoma, Sarmiento and now Buonanotte as...
Simply not true. Cucurella and his agent did the same and we got way over market value for him. Burn didn't but was sold because it was the right thing to do for everyone. £13 million looks cheap with hindsight, though I thought it was about right at the time.
People tend to notice when world famous players aren't in the matchday squad two weeks in a row for no apparent reason and turn up in their home country instead.
"Hello, Todd, yes this is Paul again. Spurs have made a really interesting bid of £25 million for Trossard. We were wondering if you were still interested? With our special relationship £40 mill plus Colwill should seal the deal. Yes? Lovely. I'll get the paperwork drawn up."
Gil is younger and VERY similar. Kulusevski is far better and Son is far quicker. Richarlison is the next cab on that rank.
I posed this question to a couple of the Spurs fans on here and their opinions were pretty mixed. I think he'd be the next Bissouma there. Loved by Brighton but m'eh to...
Astonishing that less than 24 hours from the press conference and Tweets that involve a coach rightly disciplining a player who can't be arsed and we're on to Paul Barber.
NSC :lolol:
The sensible thing to do would have been for him and the agent to go in and see RDZ and one of the senior managers and say he's looking for one last move, given he's now late 20s. We explain we don't like doing business in January. How about he gives 100% for the rest of the season, putting...
I agree with Dwayne here. This was probably why Facundo was signed. The writing has been on the wall for some with WRT Trossard. If he was happy he'd have signed a new contract.
Whether his replacements are ready or not is another question. They might not be.
Mitoma, I think is almost...
Or he spent weeks with a dysfunctional Belgian squad watching Hazard get his way every time, despite Hazard being a shadow of his former self, in a single city full of other top players and agents who could easily tap him up
