    Paul Reid

I'm really pleased that Redy's back. With a decent run in the team he looks like he could be a very influential player for us, hard-working and skillful.

    SOLD OUT!! Tonight

If it's a great atmosphere and we win 6-2 and there are a couple of hot female streakers then it will get some of the new people attending back again, so it has to be a success, despite the lower revenue on this particular match. If however it is a miserable 0-0 draw then it may backfire...

    2007 Best Gig

I enjoyed Justice in New York (Terminal 5) - that's probably my gig of the year. I also enjoyed at Freddy's Drop at the Astoria - runner-up.

    Ticket collection at Withdean

Take the email along with you just in case. My Nottingham Forest ticket was sent out accidentally despite being booked the previous day, so they printed a duplicate. Otherwise you just have to give your name and address.

    Phone Directories....

Aren't they a security risk - they've got thousands of names and addresses and telephone numbers in them? Surely Gordon Brown should resign because of this lapse of security???

How do you like your eggs in the morning?

Reminds me of the comeback to the chat-up line "How do you like your eggs" as in a cheeky asumptiom that he would sleep with her... "Unfertilized please"

    I'm glad i'm 46 years old.

Crisps from the milkman (3d and yes they had little blue bags of salt), the Corona lorry, waiting a minute for the radio to warm up (2 way family favourties and a joint of lamb roasting in the oven), bench seats in the front of the car so you could have 3 in the front and 3 in the back, the coal...

    Films that stunned you

Good call on Star Wars Easy. I went to see that film at the Odeon Leicester Square when it first came out and it was an amazing experience (having seen most films at the Crawley flea-pit before helped probably!) The huge spaceship coming over the top of you and going on for ever in the first...

What is the oldest piece of clothing you still regularly wear...

I have an original miners strike t-shirt that I wear occasionally (1984) and also a Professor Longhair / New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival T shirt from 1980 but I haven't worn it for years - not sure I could get into it now, I was a skinny rake then. My brother kept his jeans with...

    De-Icing your car

Watch out for those frozen puddles caused by people pouring luke-warm water over their windscreen! *Nerd alert* I wrote to the Crawley Observer about this very subject once when as a teenager I fell off my bike having ridden over a frozen puddle! It was published.
