I am gobsmacked that this game has sold out. But if it is partly down to ticket prices, it tells a story, no?

7500 fans paying £10 is £75,000 but if 4000 fans came (a low attendance) paying £23.50 [a South stand wing ticket (the cheapest)] that = £94000.

If it's a great atmosphere and we win 6-2 and there are a couple of hot female streakers then it will get some of the new people attending back again, so it has to be a success, despite the lower revenue on this particular match.

If however it is a miserable 0-0 draw then it may backfire.

Whatever, it's good for morale to have a near sell-out - this could have been the lowest league crowd ever at Withdean without such an initiative.
