Oh yes - saw them at the Fridge at Brixton. They threw offal and other aninal body parts everywhere - it was carnage! Also fun was when they got the most pissed audience member on stage and funneled a pint or two of alcohol down their necks in the hope that they would throw up everywhere...
In the 70s I queued overnight for Dylan tickets at Earl's Court and he was dire. But I saw him a couple of months later at Blackbushe airport and he was stunning!

The Mysterons from Captain Scarlet petrified me as a nipper. I was always checking my room in the middle of the night, thinking that those white circles of light would be moving around.
I also imagined that Twizzle was stretching his limbs up to reach my first floor bedroom window.

I was at the Goldstone game. I think that we might have gone 3-0 or 4-0 up in the first half. And then they brought the first team on. I think we lost 5-4!
Whilst in Hong Kong I browsed ina women's colthing shop called Wanko, and in Sydney there is Thai Restaurant called "Thai Me Up" which I can just imagine being said in a broad aussie accent, meaning get me loads of Thai food quick Sheila!
My lad is a pretty good player for his age (7) but in spite of my almost instinctive vicarious wish to see him do well in a competetive arena (sad, but true and I am not proud of it) I will try to keep him away from competetive games for as long as possible. He goes to Saturday Soccer on...
I get the impression (from watching the news here in Australia in the last, oooh, 24 hours) that Rudd is a Blairite modernist and that Labor is shifting to the right. Not a mention of the unions in the acceptance speech, talking about Bush / US etc. "It's a Ruddslide!"
