    Which philosopher are you?

Sartre/Camus (late existentialists) The world is absurd. No facts govern it. We live well once we truly accept the world's absurdity. YOU give our life's meaning, and YOU control your world. (see Nietzsche for very closely tied beliefs) innit

    King Kurt - destination Zululand

Oh yes - saw them at the Fridge at Brixton. They threw offal and other aninal body parts everywhere - it was carnage! Also fun was when they got the most pissed audience member on stage and funneled a pint or two of alcohol down their necks in the hope that they would throw up everywhere...

Is there any band or singer

In the 70s I queued overnight for Dylan tickets at Earl's Court and he was dire. But I saw him a couple of months later at Blackbushe airport and he was stunning! I don't think I have the energy to queue overnight for anyone these days, unless it was the middle of summer and nice and warm -...

What TV scared you as a kid?

The Mysterons from Captain Scarlet petrified me as a nipper. I was always checking my room in the middle of the night, thinking that those white circles of light would be moving around. I also imagined that Twizzle was stretching his limbs up to reach my first floor bedroom window. *shudder*

How many other ex Albion players have done or will ever do this....

I was at the Goldstone game. I think that we might have gone 3-0 or 4-0 up in the first half. And then they brought the first team on. I think we lost 5-4!

    kids footy

My lad is a pretty good player for his age (7) but in spite of my almost instinctive vicarious wish to see him do well in a competetive arena (sad, but true and I am not proud of it) I will try to keep him away from competetive games for as long as possible. He goes to Saturday Soccer on...

    Bye Little Johnny....

I get the impression (from watching the news here in Australia in the last, oooh, 24 hours) that Rudd is a Blairite modernist and that Labor is shifting to the right. Not a mention of the unions in the acceptance speech, talking about Bush / US etc. "It's a Ruddslide!"
