Re: Re: Is Charlie past his sell by date?
When Malcolm Stewart ran on to treat Leon Knight (or was it Seb Carole?) in front of the Albion fans (that was my match highlight, along with seeing that bloke off the double-glazing advert "you buy one, you get one free!"), I couldn't help thinking...
Although he will not make direct reference to the Falmer decision during the conference, I can exclusively reveal that John Prescott's speech contains the lines "On my way into Brighton today, I went through Falmer village...
...What a khazi!"
Blayney for me - he did as much as anyone to keep us up last season after FDM got injured. Would we have stayed up if Yelldell or Shaaban had remained in goal? He's proved his worth, I think.
I've always liked Neil Warnock.
Just seen his interview on the Seagulls World match review (he was featured more than Mark McGhee) & he was very complimentary - about the performance, the club, the town & even said we give him a better class of abuse than he gets up North!
I see another "cash-strapped" club have just managed to scrape together £1m for a striker too. Healy, Hulse, Blake, Ian Moore, Ricketts & now Cresswell. Cor, I wish we were £25m in debt!
