I had another idea the same day

This could be longer.
I'd look at the credits of 3 Arnold Schwarzenegger films and take a henchman from each. I want to begin each chapter with their death at Arnie's hands and have it entitled with his quip. Chapter one would be called "Don't lose your head." for instance, which might be from Commando. Anyway, it would be a look back on how each of these men became henchmen for international terrorists and how their paths crossed in training camps etc.

I know this is a very bare idea, but i liked the notion of injecting meaning into the insignificant speck that is an uzi-carrying muscle-man in a suit and polo neck who knows he's going to be killed by an Austrian with a grudge.

I think its a quality idea MB.

Commando is my personal favourite, and i think its got the best material. Particularly Sully ("i thought you said you were gonna kill me last" "i lied") and his army buddy Mendez ("Dont disturb my friend, he's DEAD tired"). How did they decide to live their lives as mercenaries?... etc etc

This is a much better idea MB. Don't undersell the film rights. Need an agent?

So this is sort of similar to Austin Powers whereby when he kills a henchman the scene flicks to his mates out having a drink and claiming they miss him...All in an attempt to make henchman 'human' and more than just faceless nobodies.
