I'm not quoting chicken run's spamming of this thread with members' post counts. Is it necessary?
In case you weren't aware chicken run, you can see members' post counts every time they post. (Under the name, then the join date then the POST COUNT. You're welcome) I'm not sure what point you are trying to prove (if any) but cut the nonsense spamming out eh?

Absolutely,Which party? Labour? I am not a member. Having quickly looked at the Lib Dem Manifesto - they suggest similar sorts of things actually.
@TomandJerry has said they are looking for a political home and would like to learn more. The best way of doing that is by seeing how their hopes/wishes/thoughts align with political parties' manifestos / actions. Do you not agree?
Hopefully we can use some soft power to help stabilise the areas, doing nothing won't solve anythingWhat policies do you think will help people in Afghanistan or Somalia?
Here's one (a year old, but unlikely to be much different)Absolutely,
I've yet to hear about Lib Dem positions on those areas, I'll do some digging around
We have no power in those areas, let alone soft power.Hopefully we can use some soft power to help stabilise the areas, doing nothing won't solve anything
So is the answer to turn a blind eye to the source of the issues? Or try to come up with a method to start solving these issues? We have no power in those areas, let alone soft power.
Even the Lib Dems are moving away from rejoining the EU - BlimeyHere's one (a year old, but unlikely to be much different)

Election Watch: Liberal Democrats manifesto promises for a ‘fair, effective immigration system’ | Laura Devine Immigration
In their manifesto for the upcoming General Election published on Monday 10 June 2024, the Liberal Democrats critique that ‘the immigration system has been broken by the Conservatives’. They propose a series of reforms to create a fair and effective system that emphasises dignity and respectwww.lauradevine.com
Well let's address these 4 points one at a timeI broadly agree with this also.
This is Reform's Policy on this
Stop the Boats with our 4 Point Plan
1. Leave the European Convention on Human Rights.
2. Zero illegal immigrants to be resettled in the UK.
3. New Department of Immigration.
4. Pick up illegal migrants out of boats and take them back to France
Given that the last one can't be done - https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cyxeedx40d8o
The second one is a bit sus as applying for asylum is not illegal.
The first one require you all to give away a whole load of protection.
I am not sure the third one will make any difference.
They are not offering you any of the requests on your list.
What do you suggest? So is the answer to turn a blind eye to the source of the issues? Or try to come up with a method to start solving these issues?
Doesn't sound as though Reform is your 'political home' does it?Well let's address these 4 points one at a time
Leaving the ECHR without the invention of a British Court of Human Rights being established (or equivalent) would be madness, and as you point out, less rights for all, also the Ireland issue.
Illegal immigrants, as far as I'm aware, have no rights to be here anyways? More than happy to accommodate legal migrants who are needed.
A department for Immigration, doesn't sound like a bad idea to be fair since it's a huge issue politically.
The fourth point I can't argue with since, well, it's illegal
It doesn't seem to align with my personal beliefsDoesn't sound as though Reform is your 'political home' does it?
The use of our soft powerWhat do you suggest?
The Taliban are not interested. The use of our soft power
"The UK ranks in the top 3 across all major soft power indices"
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/foreign-secretary-launches-uk-soft-power-council#:~:text=The UK ranks in the,UK economic growth and security.
Well then we can work with the surrounding countries and help make people feel more accommodated there instead - it's all about trying to stem the tide at the source, or as close as possibleThe Taliban are not interested.
