I think he's going to be incredibly hard to hold on to for much longer

It depends on what you count as "much longer". Do I expect him to play for Brighton in five years? No. Next season? Definitely.

A large part of it is also whether or not the top clubs need new keepers and its not really the case now. There's been a bit of a keeper chaos in the last few years but things seem to have settled now. I cant think of one single top team out there that are likely to look for a new goalkeeper in the short term. I think the keeper market is going to be very slow for the next two years or so.

As an aside I'm sure it won't be long before keepers gloves come under tighter scrutiny from the laws of the game.

If he chose England would he be pushing Pickford for England number 1?

Forgot about Pope!

Hope he gets a game for Spain soon. Probably would have played in the cancelled friendly just before the Euros.

The game wasn’t cancelled, the Under 21 squad stepped in and played the match against Lithuania. Our own Marc Cucurella got his full Spanish debut that night.

There were reports that Sanchez was due to start that game though before the Covid case in the senior squad.

Yup I remember that but it was sort of "cancelled" in the sense that it was cancelled for their first team squad. Think he would have played in that game otherwise.

Unai Simon didnt exactly invoke a lot of confidence in the game against Sweden, would be nice if Enrique gave the chance to Rob tonight as you would imagine they could afford to do that against Georgia.

Thats very kind. My initial thought process would be to use 'panther' in a song.

So now we need a song with a word which sounds loosely like Panther. I'd go Dancer with an American twang.

Elton's Tiny Dancer would be my choice of adaptation.

Hold me closer Robby Panther
In the highlights you make great saves

Etc etc

Surely "Bobby is a panther" to the tune of "Rhythm is a dancer"?!

Words to adapt:

Rhythm is a dancer
It's a soul's companion
You can feel it everywhere
Lift your hands and voices
Free your mind and join us
You can feel it in the air
Oh-oh, it's a passion
Oh-oh, you can feel it in the air
Oh-oh, it's a passion
Oh-oh, oh, oh, oh
