You have said you don’t mind going down under GP...... - that would really pee me off.....
nobody remembers how well the relegated teams play

I agree re next season if we sign a forward.

I said I’d accept it not that I didn’t mind! Big difference. It would piss me off until kick off next season when I would only be interested in the Championship

This is because I am a Potter fanboy

I honestly think we’re as good as it will ever get for Graham Potter. Any bigger club than us and he’d have been sacked long ago with our form over the last two seasons.

You think our current squad is not an improvement from Bong, Suttner, Hünemeier, Hemed, Baldock, Schelotto, Kayal?

that's a bit selective, and you gotta love the honeymonster!

bong was defensively good (what ch wanted), and so kept suttner out, easy to pick d&d, gm keeps out two more, greyhound ok, kk was a good squad player

people seem to think that hughts had not a penny to spend!

Where did I say Potter out?

This goes back to our discussion yesterday where you cannot comprehend that someone can be satisfied with Potter's performance but think there is room for improvement.

Fair enough but I only ever see knocking of Potter from you in your posts

If only I could see a positive post about what GP is trying to do here I’d stop replying to your posts

Ok, if that was selective, please let me know which players from CH's first season would get in our current team.

Yeah, and we finished in exactly the same league position under Potter.

Yeah you've said that already. I'm saying Potter improved us in every single metric, even a slight increase in points. And that you can also see Potter is a better manager by watching the games. You still haven't disproven either of those points, which is fine, we can agree to disagree.

So did I. I also watched us lose to and be dominated by all those teams under Hughton, save for Sheffield United who weren't promoted.

I saw us beat WBA and Palace 3-1, I recall us beating Palace away as well.....

I don’t recall us being dominated either......

History rewrite again where CH is concerned

How about this;

I think Graham Potter has generally got us playing some really good football and it's looking like we will stay up, which is what I expect for us each season.

So far, whilst playing much better football, he has not improved our league position from CH (and let's not forget that semi).

However, long term, he offers sooo much more potential than CH did.

At this point in his Brighton career, Potter has achieved nothing, so the love in for him on here and suggestion he might get poached by a bigger team is baffling to me.

So you don't remember the absolutely dire 2-0 loss away to WBA or Palace taking us apart at Selhurst? (which, granted, wasn't a domination because we only lost 3-2 in the end, but we couldn't deal with them to begin with)

It's not a history rewrite. Both of these things happened. And that's no slight on CH, who is one of our best ever managers. It happens. But you can't use not winning against these teams as a stick to beat Potter with when it also occured under Hughton, and in a worse manor.

Well it is if you’re saying you didn’t see us beat them.
We beat Palace twice in Hughton last season, WBA was our first PL win and they went down.
