That’s what happens when you been out the big time for so long .

They’re all over excited and making complete clowns of themselves

Went down 16 years ago a big club

Returned as a Noddy outfit

If Liverpool and Chelsea are in mix for Ben White , as appears, then Leeds will have to look elsewhere for many reasons - not just £££'s.

Isn't Bielsa signing a new contract totally dependent on club paying the money for the players he wants?

I read this somewhere else too. I hope its true and after they cant get White Bielsa walks away. Ive not wanted a team to fail this much before (apart from Palarse)

If Liverpool & Chelsea join the bidding for White this could be the making of us. If we could get enough money to fund two big new signings like Lallana, it could be a game changer!

Would poss account for fact he hasn't signed yet. Players report next week as well. Would love to hear the conversation between White and Lallana when he says to White that Leeds are a joke, hang on here at Brighton for a season and go to Liverpool to actually win things in a season or 2.

Wouldn’t keeping Ben White also be a game changer?

Who are we going to buy with that money? Surprised so many are keen to sell one of our most promising talents.

I don’t really want to sell him if he’s that good but everyone has a price and if we get top dollar ...................!?

The difference also will be Liverpool and Chelsea will conduct themselves in the manner befitting of a top club unlike Leeds that appear to enjoy the media hype. Speaking publicly about a player they had on loan, told there was no way we'd sell him, is very unprofessional.

Their obvious attempt to unsettle Ben White is wrong and there's likely to have been tapping up as well. It would confirm that we would not be doing much business in the future with them. Tony doesn't like our business being discussed in the limelight nor does he like being backed in to a corner. There will only be one outcome when this happens.

Leeds have done nothing to dampen the frenzied outbursts in their local media and that reflects poorly on them. They knew this was not a try before you buy deal and are now attempting via various means to bully.

Agreed. Perhaps someone ought to mention to the Leeds fans that Tony is a world class poker player. He ain't going to
get stitched up easily.[/QUOTE]

Is he really that good though?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tony_Bloom

512th in 2006, his career earnings look to be about 10% of the actual top "world class" players and he's never won a meaningful title.

Granted of course that he no doubt wins all the local Sussex cups most years

Why does a lot of that sound familiar?
