Britain regrets Brexit: European election results show a solid majority for Remain

https://www.businessinsider.com/eur...-regrets-brexit-votes-remain-2019-5?r=US&IR=T

Think its fair to say there is no majority for a no deal Brexit or Farage would have got 50%, that said be prepare for lots of "managed no deal" BS in the coming weeks. No deal was never spoken about in 2016 but is now being talked up daily

Trade wise no deal will be like Albion being relegated to the Premier League to League Two overnight. Politically puts our Union of 4 nations at risk.

But if you act on emotions and feelings rather than reality, no deal is all you have left. It doesn't matter what damage is done, its worth it. Oh.............and I'll be gone in 10 years anyway...

What part of yes or no don't you get? That was our choice.

So your vote would still apply even if it meant that everyone who couldn’t speak English was deported? What about my question about all remainers getting given money? We were offered a binary choice but there MUST be a point when people say “that is not why I voted for”

Obviously all the leavers said getting a deal would be easy but now we know it isn’t so everyone is pretending they understood no deal and WTO. What is the next thing that everyone pretends? What is your line?

yes , well, the pope is head of the christian/catholic church and Britain is still , currently a christian nation........currently....i will put vids up later , going to work now.

4 Million Catholics in the UK, 2.5 million Muslims. I am atheist, but clearly faith is important to large numbers of people, and road closures for a visit of a religious leader are no more annoying to me than road closures for a Marathon, something else I don't wish to take part in.

Interesting data via a new Ashcroft poll regarding the Labour vote in the Euro election

22% switched to Lib Dems
17% to Greens
13% to Brexit Party
Only 38% stayed with Labour.

Make of that what you will........

What I take from that is that if Labour become a remain party they will still lose 10%+ of thier voters over Brexit, and that doesn't account for voters they would still lose to the Greens and Lib Dems even if they changed to remain.

Please enlarge on the irregularities, this is the first I have heard about it in three years, and certainly has not been made public.

You have not heard of the illegal harvesting of Data which was used to send very targeted ads to people on facebook?
Some of these ads claim leaving the EU is going to save Polar Bears, remaining would mean we can't have a cup of tea, and of course we could spend the £350 million we don't give to the EU on the NHS and Flood defences, and anything else you might want to spend it on, these ads were sent after the campaign had been warned that the £350 million was an inaccurate and disreputable use of National Statistics Data.

There were 7 ads titled Reason 27, 29, 32, 33, 43, 46, and 50 with statements like "to spend the £50 million a day we send to the EU on the NHS" or "to stop EU politicians we didn't vote for making 2 out of 3 of our laws"

These ads were targeted, so someone identified with cancer or supported health charities was likely to recieve a fund the NHS ad, animal lovers would get Polar Bears and Bull fighting, Islamaphobes would get Turkey joining the EU, Socialists would get an ad with an image of Jeremy Corbyn, all these are not entirely honest statements to put it lightly.

Facebook eventually published them all and they can be seen here https://www.parliament.uk/documents...e_news_evidence/Vote-Leave-50-Million-Ads.pdf

Then there is this https://www.theguardian.com/politic...d-70k-breaches-of-electoral-law-eu-referendum

The people who voted Brexit, in the biggest poll/election/referendum ever have not moved an inch. That is a fact.

Some have, quite a lot have moved 6 feet underground. Interestingly, the Tory party now gets more funds from legacies in wills than it does from living donors. Dead people are having quite an effect on UK politics at the moment.

We also find out tomorrow whether BoJo has to go to court over repeatedly lying during the campaign.

I'd take you seriously if a few hundred thousand backed you up, but really? Good God man, you really think a referendum was down to corruption?

16,765,992 votes would have been 50% of the valid votes cast, +1, which would have been a winning total in the referendum.
Leave got 17,410,742
Remain got 16,141,241
If 624,751 people that voted Leave, had voted Remain instead, it would have been a remain win, with a majority of 1.

I am sure at least 624,751 votes of 33,551,983 were gained by the combination of lies, illegal collaboration, illegal spending, illegal use of data and Russian trolls.

What do you mean 'nothing new'? Please don't say illegal activity is okay by you. I am sure you are not saying that - but you do seem indifferent to corruption.

Indifferent to bare faced lying politicians, they're all at it.

Yeah but surely leave would have insisted on another 'people's vote'?
