A draw between Preston and Burnley will help us, but not massively.

A Preston win, on the other hand, would be of absolutely huge assistance.
If you offered me a Preston vs Burnley draw, I'd have to decline. A Preston win is 3 to 1, but that's what we need.

Draw would still be decent as it gives chance for mboro to already grab promotion by the time we play them
They could get promotion, but they won't have a week off partying as they'll still want to win the Championship. Had they have won yesterday, it would be a different matter. We'd be playing a load of drunks on the final day.

I agree with you. The benefit of a draw is marginal. I'd take the risk that PNE might do the double over the ginger dalek and his one-dimensional flukes. And actually, if that game is level with ten mins to play, Burnley probably won't take the point, and they might leave space for PNE to take advantage.

So either PNE win, or we are looking at having to beat Middlesbrough on the final day.

Can't see Burnley dropping points here, as much I'd love them to lose. We need to win our final three to go up, as far as I see it? Can we do it? On the current form, absolutely.

Is there anyone in the world, other than the **** himself, that thinks he looks good with that muff on his face? It's bizarre.

This one is MASSIVE. Burnley do seem to fluke late equalisers and results even when they are playing shite though.

Not like us in the second half at Forest then :lolol:

This. A Preston win and us BATTERING Charlton would swing promotion HUGELY in our favour. Please Preston. PLEASE. I will give you actual money.

I'd thought so Preston-Blackburn only 9 miles apart

towns really are close together up there in Lancashire

Burnley loathe Blackburn. PNE loathe Blackpool. That's the way it is up there.

Am sure PNE would quite happily beat Burnley, no doubt, but their main source of loathing/mockery/laughter is Blackpool, or "the Donkey Lashers" as I believe they're known (as opposed to PKE- Preston Knob End).

Preston don't like the PLASTICS (Blackburn) much either. And the DINGLES (Burnley) are a close third rival.

Got a feeling about this one - Preston to nick it. My feelings are usually wrong - just ask my first girlfriend
