Good for him, he is obviously good at his job. Oscar tried to get hIm to go to Maccabi and now Sami wants him as assistant manager. Those who see what he does day in day out think he's an asset to the club.

Doesn't really matter overmuch shirley? What did Taricco ever do - and still do - under Poyet other than sit there with his arms folded looking disinterested? Nathan jones is a bit more animated, but the new players brought in look pretty self-motivated and keen. Doubt any input from any assistant manager will make much of a difference either way. They all seem UP for it!

What confused me was this bit:

They've both replaced the one guy?

Yes.

As I understand it, Dr Helge Riepenhof had two roles; he was Head of Sports Medicine and Science, and also Club Doctor.

Adam Brett has been appointed the new "head of medical services" (ie replacing Dr Riepenhof in his first role), and Dr Steven Lewis will join as Club Doctor, replacing Riepenhof in his second role.

Seems pretty simple to me?

If only some had listened a few months ago to the posters on here who have heard Jones speak & could tell just what a knowledgable fella he is & terrific with his stats...

Pleased for him, by all accounts he did a good job last season so he deserves another shot at the job. Never had a problem with him personally so the very best of luck to him.

Ha. Well at least you're honest albeit not objective.

Honest maybe but I'm not keen on posters revealing their most intimate erotic fantasies.

I just hope there's an alert steward nearby if he fails to control himself.

Well do we go with Sami's opinion, or a few abusive Dogberries on here ? I'll go with Sami.

All the best Nathan.

Is there any real reason people dislike NJ? I find some of the posts on here bizzare... He's done a good job here and he's always very animated on the touchline and seems very passionate about his job here, what exactly has he done to warrant the sort of abuse he gets from some?

Either certain posters have anger issues or he's genuinely done something wrong that I don't know about? NSC is a weird & wonderful place.

It seemed clumsily worded to me, not noting that Reipenhof had two roles, that were being filled by two people.
