Yet you thing all is well....Interesting....Wonder if certain players who have since departed would agree???....We will see.

I 'thing' we're moving in the right direction. I very much doubt everything is perfect, I very much doubt everything is perfect at any football club. You're going to tell me that some players who have left aren't happy. Wow, what a bombshell. Any other earth-shattering revelations? There were issues between Barber and Poyet? Barnes was pissed off that we didn't offer him a decent enough contract? Bloom was annoyed with the way Poyet handled things? Come on, give us your exclusive scoop.

You seem to thrive on misery and moaning, it must be a miserable existence, I honestly don't know how you do it.

2-1 at Anfield against the top scorers and most inform team in the league, almost snatching a draw. Not bad.

Still he's not English, so he's a ****. Intelligent thinking.

Time for Poyet to pull his finger out and actually get the points which will relegate Palace.

Starting with a win against West Ham on Monday.

Well that depends if you have a philosophy or not, or a vision of how you want the club to go. If you want to play a certain way and want to have an identity and want to have a culture and a way of doing things, then you use that way from the top down. From the 1st team down to the under 8s. That's what Poyet started, and that's what Oscar is continuing and what Bloom has decided he wants to do. So you might as well get used to it.

All last season you were moaning about how we just tapped it around and got nowhere and it was pointless etc and it didn't work and we ended up finishing one victory from automatic promotion. But then of course you went quiet in the last few months when we were winning nearly every game we played. We got rid of the guy who had taken us so far (another one of your Nostradamus like predictions- "he won't be here at the end of this season / next season / the season after / see, I was right") as you wanted, and it set us back a year. We're now about where we were in Gus' first season at the Amex, or probably a bit ahead. So next season is the one to judge Oscar on.

I love the way you think Sunderland should just go to Anfield and attack, like it's that easy. Like these hugely experienced foreign managers who know the game inside out and come from countries that have outsmarted England time and time again have it all wrong, and if you were in charge you'd just go 4-4-2 and attack and everything would be great. It's as if you're 13 years old playing football manager, but the sad thing is, you aren't, I think you're a fully functioning adult who has been watching football for a long time. Amazing how someone can watch so much of something, yet learn so little about it.

Great post. I noticed tactical genius kev decided against responding to this.
The worst thing is that in the north there are quite a few 'kevs' around. Constantly moaning about all things tactics, when, as in this case, they don't have a ****ing clue.

Exactly. We're no Barcelona, but perhaps we're trying to follow the model of having a style that runs through the club. If that's the case, you can't change it because a couple of players are injured, and a couple of others are struggling with the system.

Liverpool played like a team who haven't won the championship in 20 odd years and know how close they are...They still won,,christ on a bike are people really trying to big Poyet up after they lost again???
No, people are not bigging him up. Before the match we'd have all said Sunderland had no chance. As soon as the match started you start a thread saying they'll get canned (I guess you meant caned) because of the formation the played. People are simply disagreeing with you. Poyet wasn't a mastermind yesterday, but there was nothing wrong with the way they set out or played. And they didn't get caned or canned.

Definitely. Surely, everyone will forgive him if S'land finish one place above our friends up the road, preferably by a goal difference that is better by one. The perfect solution.

It's the same one I always use. It's getting a bit worn now.

I know a lot I dont post on here my friend.A) Because no one believes you and B) The dogs abuse you get....So I think I will keep my court...Look forward to another interesting summer though..

The only reason you get abuse is because you provide half baked theories with absolutely no proof, proclaiming them to be truth, then you Do The Hermit when proved wrong, until such a time that people have forgotten and you can go again. If the claims were substantiated, then people would probably respect you more. Unfortunately for you, it's a case of the boy who cried wolf. Until you give solid proof that your knowledge is actually concrete, then people will write you off.

I really hope not because the possession football philosophy of Barcelona is now in the past.

The Germans have found a way to combat that type of football and it has been embraced by the top teams in the PL now. Playing with pace and power with players that are strong and athletic is the way forward. The teams that are above us in the Championship are now playing this way so I cannot believe we are going to persevere with the tippy-tappy possession football because it has been sussed out.

We are not going up playing this style unless millions are spent on the players to do it.There will be a mass exidios in the summer and a new team will need to be built.....If Jones is having the input I believe he is having, we could be in serious trouble next season.

Hmmm losing by the odd goal, away from home, to a high flying team, scoring for fun, that according to 5-live 'were hanging on at the end' (because Liverpool had switched off ).

So where's Kev's Fickle Finger of Self-Righteous Doom going to point to next?

Poyet (foreign managers, subtle) Greer, Burke, have been recent recipients, during this horrendous loss of form.

Alternatively we could beat Middlesborough and Blackburn which will magically stop Kev from going down to the library in order to log on to here.

Surely if ever the team needed a justification to win, it's that.

It'ssssssssss...

... Nathan Jones.

Oh I'm glad that's sorted out.

That's the Germany who were comprehensively outplayed by Spain at the last World Cup? Was like a training match at times. Oh and they lost to, erm, Spain in the 2008 Euros Final.
