Danny Wilson here..and Frankie Worthington (did he retire?)
100% Agree.
As a PLAYER??
Wardy - just felt impossible he could play for anyone else.
Peter Ward and funnily enough at the time, Andy Ritchie. (Terry Connor was probably better in hindsight.)
And to think 7 played in the same side. Looking back we had a bloody good team on paper, pity we should have been comfortable in the old League 1.
Would "hindsight" be defined as "looking out one's arse?" i thought Connor was pretty crap to be honest.
Robbie Savage
He only played six games didn't he?
Adam Virgo, I loved him!
The, some might say, surprising wave of disappointment over Barnes being sold got me thinking about other Brighton "favourites" and their sad departures. What are yours?
For me it would have to be:
Garry Nelson - shoved out to the wing then to Charlton by Lloyd
Bobby Zamora - Inevitable but still gutting
Danny Cullip - Not the best player but a huge part of the club and a shock when he went.
