This is true. Not sure that Barker is the answer, but we haven't even seen Ben Dickenson yet. Give him a try, see how he does.

Dickenson looks great IMO. Tall, big, strong & fast. He might not be as technically good as Barker (yet), but he seems (to me) to have the physical capabilities to play in the Championship, which is half the battle..

Frankly l couldn't care less whether Palace win lose or draw, the Albion is all that interests me, and as Bozza says, fail to land a loan striker, then lose at Yeovil, then the effects could be far reaching.

To improve as a player to the point where he's EARNED his chance?

His performances so far would suggest he either has no interest or is totally useless, sad to say.

Well to be fair, he hasn't really had much of a chance to show what he can do yet. One problem being the man currently occupying his favoured left wing position, namely a certain Kazenga Lua-Lua, our best player by a country miile in recent games in my opinion, so the manager is hardly going to drop him to give Conway a chance.

Players need a good run in the team to be able to give of their best, and l don't see how Conway will get the opportunities to do that.
