That's in Hedge End. Sainos, M&S, PC Currys World, Three other DIY outlets including giant B&Q, Halfords, Carpets, Sofa's Furniture. KFC. Maccy D's, Pizzathingy, Burger king, Tyres, Garages, Car sales and loads of other useful shops.
If it's not here, it's close or 10 minutes up or down the motorway. Botley Three pubs and a small Coop and the station is in Curdridge.

And all the above are in the glorious borough of Eastleigh, as is the Ageas Bowl as well.

I know that wasn't the point. I just thought it might be fun to join in.

And from Southampton, you certainly wouldn't go through Botley to get to the Hedge End Retail park, not unless you got lost. It's further north and east.

Who needs a striker when you can have a hotel next to the ground instead.... Far more important than the actual football.

But by building a hotel now, we might get to be able to afford the Lionel Messi equivalent in the future.

Well, you never know.

Can't believe nobody has considered one of these to get in and out of the WSU (I might even switch from the North)

It is indeed, but if I was coming West along the A27 to get to the Aegeas Bowl I would go through the retail park as there is less congestion.

But, you asked if I had been to the bowl, and stated that if I had, I'd have driven through it. I wouldn't be coming West along the M27, coming as I would be from Chandlers Ford. Knowing the area like the back of your hand, you ought to know that.

Why all this chat about needing out of town shopping when none of you know what's happening your doorstep?

I thought you had finished. I know Chandlers Ford very well too, not a bad town but the industrial estate is a bit of a blot and the access to the motorway is awful.

Hands off Chandlers Ford. I have lived here 29 years and I think the access to the motorway is pretty good.

It is. J12 of the M3 enables quick access to the M3 North or South, and to the M27 East or West. I presume doug refers to the fact that if you use J13, then you can't access the Eastbound M27. We cope.

We could have:-

Curry's
Burger King
Sports Direct
Toys R Us
DFS

Then it'll be just like the Goldstone.

What the south east needs is a proper waterpark with huge slides, rapids, wave machine, water cannons, pirate ship and flumes that start on the roof and go through a tank full of sharks. I also like the idea of a laser quest. Can the two be combined?

Imagine going there on saturday morning and then watching albion in the afternoon.

Would all this fitin Falmer duck pond?

Indeed. I wonder how many people come down Leigh Road and turn onto the M3 and then realize they can't turn off to Portsmouth.

A few, I guess, who'd not bothered to read a map, or plug in a sat-nav.

The Aegis Bowl is in West End anyway. The road on the other side of the Sainos and M&S bit is named after a guitarist from the Rolling Stones for some reason.

What on earth has the name of the ROAD got to do with it? Is Preston Park in LONDON?

Yes it is. If you get off the tube at South Kenton and cross the road (To the East), through the little lane it's right in front of you. I know that area like the back of my hand.
