Motd 2. Shearer just said. Palace should have been 3 or 4 down after FIVE minutes

Just wound it back.........

MOTD 2. Alan Shearer: "Swansea had a really tough game on Thursday, in Spain, traveled all the way back, Palace were thinking we have to get off to a good start. They (CPFC) should have been 3 or 4 down after FIVE minutes".

I thought their plan was always to get relegated and then use the parachute payments to build a new stadium. In which case, job done.

Result! .....crazy money will help them get the job done, job done indeed. Be nice to go to a tarted up Selhurst Park rather than the current shithole. As long as I can can get the superb jerk chicken 5 mins from the ground I will be happy. Mmm jerk chicken

Back on thread.

That pass from Gabbidon sums up Palace - they can't pass the ball. He received the ball on the edge of his own box, under no pressure, he attempts to play it square first time and puts it out for a corner. Last week Jedinakers , under no pressure, passes the ball square across his own box to Ashley Young who wins a penalty.

Their MOM yesterday was Kayla (the prematch eagle!):tosser:

We were not good enough to go up last year; neither were Palace. I'd rather spend a few seasons in the 2nd tier strengthening - a bit like Swansea did - rather than fluking promotion and then getting outplayed every week despite panic signing 15 random players on hefty contracts.

Question for you.
How long before the 7k plastics that have turned out this season, start to drift away and how many more pointless games will it take before the fans start to turn against Holloway?

Sub 20k crowds before December.

I just don't know where Palace's points are coming from

Southampton away, who just comfortably beat Liverpool.
Liverpool away, who are in form and will have a refreshed Suarez back.
Fulham is a 6 pointer at this point and a must win at home. Pressure.
Arsenal at home who are flying.

If they don't bet Fulham they'll be as good as burried before the seasons even got started.

They better hope Sunderland dont bring in anyone semi-competent...

A large chunk of my footballing interest now lies with Sunderland as they appear to be the only club that might be shit enough to finish below Palace...

Agree with summary of games but they wont be dead and buried. Thing with premier league is you can be absolute gash for months on end but if you string 2 or 3 results together you can be out the bottom 3.
