Barnsley wearing Palace's kit

Having said that it avoids a fine. Barsnley knew palace are red and blue so why the **** do they have a blue away kit why not a third or a yellow.

yes palace lack class by making them pay but if i was the FL i would be fining them on top. unforgivable.

Oh I agree that the Barnsley kit man should get a huge bollocking, but for their Chairman, yes that's right "THEIR CHAIRMAN" who is a muti millionaire, to allude to them being skint on a PUBLIC forum and after being made to buy kits in his own club shop they may not be able to buy "fish and chips" on the way home sums up everything about that odious club.

No class in anything that bunch of wankers (CPFC2010) do.

p.s. If you're reading this Parish, Fat wine seller (Browett) et al, I've been saving my pocket money. Bring it on.

After having some sympathy with the scummers last night, on reading this I've changed my mind completely. That statement is sad and shows them up to be a pathetic, classless bunch of twunts. Fancy making them pay for palace shirts because you wouldn't want them back, utter utter pricks.

Barnsley knew about the situation on Friday, so they could have got a set of tops from any sports manufacturer, but choose not to.
Why should we pay for their incompetence ? And before any of you say we should have worn our away kit, would you have done it in similar circumstances ?

It just all seems so small time. Charging them for shirts! Seriously.

Your wasting your time. The only thing I agree with is the comment from SB was classless, but judging by some of the twats on this thread he would fit in well on here

It must be becoming a little tiresome having to keep on coming on here and defending the nonsense from your billionaire Chairmen? Fair play to you for persevering I suppose.

Would we have made them go to the club shop, pay for all the shirts and the printing of said shirts, then have our Chairman post on a public forum that you're only upset because you may not be able to afford a meal on the way home?

I doubt that.

No class, money running out, Zaha gone, Dobbie to pay for, Selhurst down to 3 stands within 2 years, 2 stands in 4 years.

Where have I defended him?

Barnsley choosing not to bring the proper kit-their fault, they had time to sort it out and so frankly stuff them.

SB's comment regarding fish and chips-not classy at all, but then again I do not support the chairman, I support the club. I do not believe for one minute that CPFC2010 are in it just for the love of their team, the same way I do not believe that Tony Bloom is either, all businessmen have an exit strategy and a plan to make money.

Trouble is most Palace owners exit strategies end up costing everyone else money.

Good try Hillian, but must try harder

I think that Tony Bloom has a bit more love for his team than your chairman. Apparently he has not made an "exit strategy" in his will either.
"Upon taking-over the club Bloom declared his love of the game, "I've been a football fan and a gambler since the age of about seven or eight. My interest in both developed at the same time. Bloom is a longtime fan of Brighton and his family has had a long association with the club: his uncle Ray is a director and his grandfather, Harry, was vice-chairman during the 1970s.

Why did Barnsley need to get names printed on their shirts, would numbers not have sufficed and then the kits could have re-used surely?

Names have to be shown on the back of the shirt , the only exception I think is when a shirt gets blood on it , there isn't a replacement and in that case a shirt with no number or name is worn.

Bloom has said on many occasions that his legacy will be passed to his children. Browett (CPFC2010) has said on many occasions he will sell when someone comes in for Palace, it's just nobody will.

The only good thing about this is Barnsley had to rush to the club shop and pay for the shirts and have all the names put on the back !
I hope they made the kit man pay.
Tin pot or what ?

They couldn't have played in the regular Palace away strip because all those shirts have the name of a Palace **** on the back

I thought it might be so that the stadium announcer would know who's name to shout out after they scored........then i realised that firstly nobody has scored at Selfirst for a while......and secondly it is only the home players that are treated to that cringe worthy experience.

I actually defended you lot last night. I did say you were on a shit run and trying to keep your play off place in tact so why should you change to an away kit at home. But making them pay for your shitty away kit and then gloating about it on B.B.S was pathetic.
