Players have ambitions, like the rest of us. Our promotion push has stalled somewhat so of course if a tempting offer from a Premier League team comes in, he's going to give it serious consideration. Who wouldn't, in his situation?

Of course, we all hope he stays and helps us get up this season or next. But every quality player has his price and we simply aren't big or rich enough to say no at any price, more's the pity.

You seem to be ignoring the fact that Bridcutt has a choice with such interviews. Like all of us, Naylor probably knows he has Prem ambitions and maybe knew about his agent situation. But there is a lot of difference between Naylor musing over these items and Bridcutt providing quotes. Without doubt Bridcutt has put himself in the shop window by saying this to the press and knew what he was doing.

If we were top 6 they wouldn't be leaving by choice and would hang around to the end of the season. Problem is with the way we are currently playing heads are easily turned in other directions and that is the only thing we are doing right

But there is a lot of difference between Naylor musing over these items and Bridcutt providing quotes. Without doubt Bridcutt has put himself in the shop window by saying this to the press and knew what he was doing.

Trust me, if a player refuses to talk to the press or comes out with 'no comment' to the kind of questions Naylor might have asked, it prompts far more speculation that something's afoot than if he simply gives straight answers. He's already in the shop window in any case.

Gus has failed to meet their expectations. You can sell the amazing stadium to players, but the failure in scouting, coaching and team morale .... has led to the under achievement on the pitch.

Exactly. As we've seen often enough before, players will only show loyalty to a club up to a point. If a better offer comes along, why wouldn't they look at it?
