“It all came at the wrong time for me. With the January window coming up and not having an agent it was a bit difficult but I have found an agent now who I am going to sign with and be happy with.”

That's a bit alarming to hear!

Oh dear. He's under contract until 2015 but was anxious to have his new agent in place for the Jan transfer window. Speaks volumes really.

If he's under contract until 2015 we should tell any club bidding to do one for less than £5 million.

Pork pie land.
It would appear that most of our players are not of the opinion their quickest route to the Premiership is to stay with the Albion, and none appear to have any wish to stay on the "Gus Bus" to the end of the route.

He owes us and if Gus wants to keep him he should keep his head down and stay to the end of the season as thank you for putting him on the map.

Funny that. I can't think why.

I wouldn't really say he owes us anything. He has carried the team defensively for quite a long time now and deserves a Premiership move.

I'm not sure he does owe us anymore. Part of the title winning team and player of the season last year. I'd say he owes us nothing now.

Saying that if we dont stand in his way in the summer then I'm not sure he needs to jump ship first opportunity.

He was hardly welcomed with open arms when he joined, as Poyet constantly made it clear he was a short-term fix to Navs' injury. How ironic that our best player was only signed as short-term cover, with the money we have wasted on others.

His old agent was former Albion goalkeeper Mark Cartwright who joined Stoke as Technical Director in December. Liam has been linked with Premier League clubs all season so it would be a bit silly of him knowing this to not find a new agent. It doesn't mean he is definitely looking for a move it could be that he wants to be prepared should we accept a bid for him.

Ah who am I kidding he's going :(

He knows he has the ability for the Prem as we all do i expect he now realises that perhaps Gus is not the Messiah like many thought and he will not be leading us to Prem footie next year without big investment.

I wouldn't begrudge him a move to the Premiership as he deserves it for his consistent performance for us. I'd hope we'll be able to keep him to the end of the season like we did with Bennett and Noone but it definitely sounds like he wants to move this January.
