I said earlier I'm paying for the better view and to give my son and old man a bit more comfort, oh and the parking space, and I really don't think the cost by the time you take into account the programme, cup games etc will be so much more than a season ticket.

I think people may be shocked by what a season ticket is going to cost at Falmer. Look at this way 4-5,000 people have been paying "happily" to have a season ticket at Withdean, there is an argument to say that people would readily pay at least this and maybe a little bit more for one at Falmer. I think that is what the club will think, rightly or wrongly.

And the main reason I have gone for the 1901 Club is that I just could not face the whole bunfight that will occur when the season ticket details are announced. The club will definitely screw up the prioritisation. Not theire fault, but it's impossible to please everyone. I wanted no part in that as I was bound to be disappointed!

No. You are guaranteed that monthly cost (£76 +VAT) for 5 years starting from next season. Whether the club is promoted or relegated that is what you'll play.

No. Your £1000 secures that seat for life until the earth boils etc.
The price of £76 +VAT per month is for the first 5 years of your seat. At the end of this 5 years the terms of your contract mean the club can change the price of that monthly charge.

You can also get a seat for £500 for 5 years rather than for life, then have first option to renew that membership. Your monthly outgoing is the same.

I will be shocked if they decide to increase ST prices for Falmer. I'm sure that many people, like me, were prepared to pay one of the highest ST prices anywhere outside the Prem (and with no roof) because they were aware of the financial situation the club were in and wanted to do their bit to help out. If the club now decides to increase prices by any amount then I think that would create quite a backlash. Ironically, some of that would also be due to the fact that we weren't warned it was coming and now can't get a gold/platinum seat as people that were not previously ST holders have taken them.

If BHAFC seriously think that they can justify any increase then they will be running a serious risk of losing the very people that they need to make Falmer a success. Remember, many of these people are well-used to protesting in very innovative and very public ways.

i am a member of the 1901 club and we are paying 100 a month, however if you think about it this way as well,

the 1901 club allocates parking spaces, now if i were to grab the train every week not only would we have to drive down to the station we would have to park at a station and pay for parking then pay for the train!

so you are saving money in a way haha

Hopefully the aim of securing long term funding i.e. secured income from lifetime owned seats and corporate boxes and entertainment, is a business model that enables normal seats and season tickets to be sold at appropriate prices.

the 1901 club allocates parking spaces, now if i were to grab the train every week not only would we have to drive down to the station we would have to park at a station and pay for parking then pay for the train!

so you are saving money in a way haha

No because there will be a amount for a travel voucher on the ticket for a train, and you could park around the station so avaoiding parking fees nest pas?

all all the carling cup games are thrown in for free first chance tickets to all games like

they said to us they WILL be holding England Under 21's matches which is exciting!

plus you get a free program every match haha ^^

But I thought that Falmer would provide (via its larger capacity) more flexibility around the club being able to offer different price levels? We've lost a generation of young supporters and we've got to get those people back. Surely (shirley) the club have this in mind and will be trying to get the right balance?

im pretty sure they said (concerts) when we went to see the stadium but i am not 100% sure =/ im guessing it will be limited to about a month of concert time in the closed season but 1 a year is dumb haha
