This is exactly right. Plus Watkins, Isak etc etc other weeks.

I'm not saying this fella wouldn't be a good signing, but 21 is very young for a centre back. I doubt he would be going straight in the side if we did buy him and would likely be loaned
You reckon we are going to loan out a starting Italian international?
Unlikely..........

The difference is that the Albion have already bought one CB and are scouting another. They're not in the market for a no 10 or a goalie. They did sign Watson, so could be expecting a winger to leave, although that could be Adingra
Is that other CB confirmed yet ? or did i just miss the announcement and shirt holding etc ?

Or is it a 1st July job.. ?

Boscagli is a done deal - just not announced yet.

As you suggest, likely to be 1st July, when his PSV contract expires.

Looks like we are being quite active this window.
Confirmed already for this window:
Watson for c £10m
Boscagli free
Strongly rumoured:
Koustoulas £34m
Ounahi £10m
Coppola £10m

Total outlay c £64m

Possible outs: wild guesses on values
Joao Pedro £60m
O’Riley £20m
Enciso £30m
Sima £5m
Total c £115m

Total profit around £50m

I’d be quite happy with that if it meant we kept Mitoma.

Looks like Igor going as well, if this is true.

A 21 year old, with 81 Serie A appearances and now Italian international centre back for £10 million sounds like a bargain.

Just imagine how much he would cost he was English!
If he were English, he'd be doing the Chelsea-Palace-Chelsea shuffle for a combined fee of about £75-90m whilst being touted as the next Bobby Moore before ending up at Alaves by 24.

Lots of rumours heating up today. Club making the most of this initial transfer window which closes tomorrow? Wonder if they think there is beter value there
It’s a tactic from all clubs this year it seems. Must be to do with the Club World Cup and possibly FFP.
Super exciting signing this one.

Would be very surprised if we sold O’Riley
Adingra on the other hand..

Might be because everything is settled, we've got a manager who has been discussing needs for months now, and has asked to get as many in for pre-season training. We also don't need too much in the way of incomings, and we're also now a stable PL club with a growing reputation. Those with the biggest reputations tend to get their transfer activity done earlier in the window/s.
