This is a local club for local people, there's nothing for you here
Now I’m not racist (I talk to a black guy at work and he seems ok), BUT I do get wound up by our new fans from far afield slagging some of our players off when they’ve never been to a game and only “support” us because of how well we’re doing.

I know the ‘live and let live’ crowd will hate this post but I think you should have to openly support Brighton 5 years before making a comment on the internet. It will be tough to regulate but we need a way 👊🏻

I dont think you've made it as a PL team until you receive comments on twitter from some lunatic watching the game from a shipping container in Djibouti

Have you asked the black guy at work what he thinks about it? He could probably speak on behalf of all non British Brighton fans.
Personally I love the fact so many people give a shit about the club I love.
I also thought this was social media, as I partake in no other.

To be honest I find our English based fans who moan about players on twitter the most annoying. People wanting Jason Steele's contract terminated, refusing to watch if he starts, just generally saying 'Moder is Sh*t'. Moaning about everyone, while its quite clear by when they are tweeting they are all a part of the sitting at home and complaining brigade. Just think its shit support most of the time, find most international fans to be pretty complimentary, its the keyboard warriors sat at home moaning who never turn up and watch it at home who do my nut in.

But the ones over here have at least been to a game. Old jonny come lately from Ecuador is not telling me how the team should be run or I’m gonna ‘Hereford away’ him, then he’ll know who he’s messing with !

..And that is why, come kick off, I never read the ***OMT***.
Full of shite that I really don't want to hear, from people that are totally clueless.
I always find it hard to get a signal from inside the ground.

I've got a co-worker who sporadically collects old kits, balls, cones etc from the league he plays in and sends them to clubs in Africa who need it. One of the teams requesting some of it the last time was this team from Sudan:

It might not make up for twitter bellends but how cool is it that an amateur club in Sudan are named after us and use our badge? That's the sort of thing that blows my mind about where we currently are.

I disagree. Just because you have been to watch a game live does not mean you are more entitled to slag off our players. No true supporter slags off their own players (except when said player is taking the piss and just not trying).

Had you led with just complaining about cock wombles who claim to support Brighton but hate on Brighton players then I would agree. Instead your problem seems to be with foreign people daring to have an opinion.

We have had Iranians and Saffers jumping on the bandwagon in the past, is this worse?

Seen a game but still manage to talk more shite, if you talk shite, you talk shite, doesn't matter where you are from. It seems your issue here is that they are foreign.

I'm sure there's many on NSC who have been to Old Trafford at least a dozen times supporting the Albion, which would enable them to be classified almost as ST holders at Old Trafford compared to many actual Utd fans.

Just welcome everybody, rather like the Percy fan club, they will move on someday, and we will be left shouting into an echo chamber, chamber, chamber......

😂😂😂😂 you just know when it starts with ‘i’m not racist, but..’ it is gonna either be hilarious or cause a shit storm. Incredibly funny post.

In all seriousness tho, yes they are bloody annoying. Foreign plastics are the WORST, though. They have 0 knowledge on our football n football culture.
