Almost certainly will because I know I'll regret it if I don't but the atmosphere really seems to have taken a dive this season and that takes away some of the enjoyment.

Yes definitely
I get a bit bored watching it go from side to side then back then out wide then back then forward then back and then when it gets to the pen area very little happens
Just would like to see it all more direct bit quicker more dynamic
Only my opinion but the stats don’t lie
We are not scoring many goals and consequently slipping down the table
All those teams we thought we were much better than all seem to be catching us or going above us
Hope I’m wrong but think it needs a good shake up personally or we will be in the bottom half come January 100%

Lacking rhyme, stanza and support. 👋

Yeah I will do.

Been thinking about cutting back a bit, for financial reasons, but can't bring myself to do it whilst RDZ is with us.
Might regret the decision by the time the new season starts, but I doubt it.

I see us as maybe on a kind of short-term dip (if it even is a dip, we’re in the last 16 of the Europa League so it’s the kind of dip I can live with) on a decade-plus long upward curve. Progression is rarely linear - a couple of recruits and returnees from injury and we can get close to last season…and if we don’t we’re still well set for next season and beyond. Chelsea, Man U and Newcastle all might end up below us this season so don’t agree ‘all those teams’ etc

Doesn’t need a good shake-up at all imo, just a bit more luck, a bit more time to develop the younger players and a couple of decent recruits. Anything mid-table for a club like us is fantastic- we massively overachieved last season.

I’m a JCL but have never been less bored. Assume you missed Hughton’s PL tenure.
No I’ve followed the Albion since 1968 was very much present under CH

Have purchased as a Christmas present a ticket in ESU for my vising 15 year old nephew. Bloody hell £60.
If I want to come to a game with my 2 kids, the day (tickets, travel, incidentals etc) costs anywhere between £150-£200. For a football match.

Consequently, we don’t come anymore.

A quick question relating to ST renewal.

I’ve had my st since the Amex first season I was a Goldstone STH.

I reach the tender age of 65 on the 30th of April, ( I know, I don’t look it,😂😂😂)

Will I be able to renew within the allotted time for the OAP rates, or will I have to pay full price for another year?

You'll be 65 at the start of the season. Next Season's ticket will be at OAP rate, assuming the club don't change that.

However, any tickets for individual home games this season (Europa Cup, FA Cup) will be at adult price even once you reach 65.

PBOBE thinks that is good practice that your age at the start of the season determines your age related discount for the whole season.

I think I will renew but cost will be a factor plus what the Club plan to do concerning travel. If we have to start paying for travel (P & R ) then it may cause me to reconsider
I’m the opposite, funnily enough. If they start charging a nominal sum for P and R eg £5, then I’m more likely to renew as I think it will discourage non-P and R users from overwhelming the buses at the end of the game. If I could use park and ride without having to leave 10 mins before the final whistle to be sure of not queuing up for ages in the cold / dark / pissing rain, it would be well worth the fiver.

The travel has really got me down this season, partly because I’m now in my late 60s, and the fixtures being all over the place has increased the stress levels, made travel more difficult, and generally diminished what used to be one of life’s simple pleasures — going to the match. Yes, I know the fixtures are f***ed because of our success in the EL but still. Thursday night football has been a mixed blessing AFAIC. I’ve now bought a Seagull Travel half season ticket which has greatly reduced the stress but it’s >£200 for 10 matches and unlike having a match ST and using the Exchange, I can’t get a refund on matches I can’t attend (and there will always be a few).

I’ll probably renew but I’m not certain.
I hope to renew for me and my son, but my job is in jeopardy. If the job goes, so do the ST’s
I’m sorry to hear that, and hope things turn up for you.

This was discussed recently elsewhere on the forum. It seems that this can disadvantage 65-y-o fans but works in the favour of teenagers who cross the threshold into adult pricing during the season. They continue to pay the reduced rate. So some lose, some gain.

I am becoming a bit more price sensitive about it, but most likely, yes.

Yes. Hoping to get my eldest son his first season ticket too but might be too much of a challenge this time as he has very few Albion+ points.
