Here in Italy there's a popular football saying that goes "Better to lose one match 6-0 than six matches 1-0."I would genuinely rather lose 5-1 every 5 games

A difference we do see though is De Z comes out and explains what went wrong (usually blaming himself)…….none of this ‘the lads gave everything’ and ’we had a bad moment’ bollox.Except against Everton (1-5), Forest (1-3 and 0-0), Leeds (2-2), Leicester (2-2), Tottenham (0-1 and 1-2), Fulham (0-1), Villa (1-2), and Brentford (0-2 and 3-3)...
Look, I love De Zerbi (genuinely), but let's not pretend that when we play teams that stifle, frustrate, timewaste and hold a strong, firm defensive line that we don't have remarkably similar issues getting results.
To say we almost never screw up when in the last two weeks be got battered by Everton and Forest is stretching it
I agree, it's great fun. That said (on paper) I struggle to see another manager getting such plaudits when we're shipping goals almost as fast as relegated Southampton (13) and almost-relegated Leicester (13).We were promised more goals at either send.
Since the semi-final:
1-3
6-0
1-0
1-5
3-0
1-4
It's not boring is it! 13-12 in 6 games.
I was thinking the same thing, our goal difference has remained the same after those 2 tricky away fixtures. So it’s as if we’d drawn them both with an extra point awarded for style. If we'd drawn away to Arsenal and Newcastle we'd have thought they were two great results. As it is we've got one more point, so just rejoice!
Henderson played was it over 60 games the year they won the CL? What's the most anyone has played for us this season? 40 odd? 45 maybe.RDZ is spot on about the mentality of players. The drop off in performance when playing twice a week is insane. He is rightly questioning are our top players really ready to move to a big club with pressures to perform at the highest level twice a week. You can’t be tired playing for Liverpool/Man City or whoever.
Whilst agree the squad is light at the moment with injuries it doesn’t explain the drop off from key players the spine of the team when playing twice a week. Mitoma couldn’t trap a bag of sand, Gross couldn’t find a pass and Dunk wasn’t much better.Henderson played was it over 60 games the year they won the CL? RDZ is and has been saying since January we need more players and more experience. The three (almost) signings so far suggest the board are backing him which is good because he's a bit too honest sometimes and if we go into next season as thin he's clearly going to start getting a bit grouchy.
Without March on the right, the defenders can concentrate more on doubling up on Mitoma.Whilst agree the squad is light at the moment with injuries it doesn’t explain the drop off from key players the spine of the team when playing twice a week. We made some changes although it really shouldn’t make that much dramatic difference we looked like a side struggling in the league not one fighting for a top six finish.
Swap him to the right every now and then. Mix it up.Without March on the right, the defenders can concentrate more on doubling up on Mitoma.
Started there against Arsenal - not sure if he had long enough to grow into the position though.Swap him to the right every now and then. Mix it up.

Even if they double up on him, stains are so poor he’ll be fine. Plus it opens up space for other players.Started there against Arsenal - not sure if he had long enough to grow into the position though.
Corrected for youBut Mitoma destroyed Ben White
