Spurs have won 1 of the last 6 games and 2 from their last 9. On that form alone, they won't win both games. 4 points max.

Villa won't win away at Liverpool next week. A draw and even if they beat us would leave them on 61 points.

Six points then - a home win v Southampton plus one from the other 4 - would be enough.

So with Spurs form and Villa's tough game next week, I'll go for 6th.
I agree 10000% with this. Most likely to happen and although end of season is predictable this is very likely. 6th is likely. If we can't get 6 points then we don't deserve Europe

I think we'll go into the Villa game where a win sees us 6th a draw 7th and loss 8th.

Wherever we finish, it's been an incredible season. I think over the season we deserve europe though and I'm not too fussed whether it's Europa league on conference.

I think we will sneak 7th but secretly I don't want us in Europe next season - with the possibility of losing some of our better players I think it would be a step too far at the moment. I would prefer 8th and another good crack at the League and domestic cups next season.

If it was down to the quality of the coaches I would say either us or Villa will grab the European spots and the order will be probably decided on the final day which would be a great game. Spurs looking very poor against Villa.

Agree with this. We would be one of the favourites for the Conference League. Would be fun.

As strange as it sounds I think it would be great to join a really strong europa league groups, tick off some big European nights then drop down to the conference and have a better chance if going deep in the competition.

We might get out of the group stages in the Europa league but I think we'd get humbled in the knockouts even by some lesser teams we'd expect to beat

Brighton and Villa are clubs on the rise where as the rot has well and truly set in at Spurs who are a shadow of themselves. I don’t think Spurs even want Thursday night football.

We have struggled this season with an avalanche of games at its end. I really worry about having a season like West Ham’s. They really have sacrificed league position for European glory. I don’t think we will have enough quality players to be a force on all fronts. I’d prefer an FA cup or league cup final to a run in Europe.

Maybe our recruitment and player development will beef us up for a European tour next season - maybe it won't. But having achieved Top 10 last season, Europe is the next staging post in Uncle Tony's masterplan, so at the very least we have to have a crack at it. The next chapter of Albion's folklore needs to be written (y)

My heart says 7th, my head says 8th.
The Everton result must play in the player's heads and the injuries are starting to hit home.
Oh well just out the door heading to Arsenal, ask me again tonight.

We're 2/1 on to finish sixth. I won't be putting money on that, given the quality of opposition yet to face, the number of injuries we have, and 5 fixtures in 15 days. That said, we're the favourites for a reason.
That's an insane price bearing in mind our fixtures. We really needed a draw or a Villa defeat yesterday. I'm hoping for seventh and resigned to eighth.

Really?

Spurs have Brentford and then a Leeds that need the points - decent chance they pick up 1 point more.

Villa wont get anything at Anfield, they then have us final day, by which point its probably already settled. I back us to get 6 points from here.

I would say todays game away to Arsenal is on paper arguably our 2nd hardest game of the 38 we play in the league this season. It may well be we have to get our points elsewhere for Europe….. just a point for everyone to remember come 6-15 today.
