I'm a big fan of Trossard. When he plays well we are a very dangerous side. Until the arrival of Mitoma he was the only genuine game changer we've had in the premier league.

I also think there's a decent chance he'll sign a new contract in the summer.

In the context of this topic, the main thing I make of this is that it would be a lot easier to make sense of if the totals were by month rather than by year.
On the other hand, at least he's improving year on year. Disappointing he didn't continue to double the goals scored each year though.

Good point on the totals and if I could be arsed I would change it, but I can’t. But 20 of his 26 goals are scored in what can loosely be classed as “non winter”.

Love him, he hasn't been on it in the couple of games back after the world cup, I imagine that there is massive disappointment for him in how little he was used and how poorly his squad did, he will get over it and back on form.

He must be gutted that Hazard kept on being picked ahead of him in the WC - and as captain too. Hazard is even more past it than Ronaldo and contributed nothing in the WC. Hopefully Hazard keeps to his "international retirement" pledge so Trossard should get far more opportunities in future.

But I look at yesterday's line up and result and think that he is going to have to perform or he's going to be edged out. With the emergence of Ferguson, Sarmiento and Mitoma, and the return of Welbeck at some point, competition for those places will be fierce and Leo won't keep his place with lukewarm performances. This also assumes RDZ doesn't bring in someone in attacking positions.

As for LT here, he has competition, which is good, but he's still top of the pile Afor quality on his day.

He knows that, and that no one will sign him if he's bench warming due to lack of form. I fully expect a swift return and a goal or two.
