any idea who/which party could be elected and who would be squeaky clean enough right throughout their party to be able to open and examine inside this Pandora’s box without tainting themselves in some way?
i’m not disputing any of what you say at all. My point was more name me a party who on thorough examination won’t have a single MP who isn’t tainted in some degree, no matter how minor. I very much doubt that there is/could be one. That’s the sadness, because of what could come to light they would make sure the torch had no batteries

Well let's see who has been named as being involved in the PPE fast track program (which, incidentally, has since been found to be unlawful) so far ?

Lord Agnew
Brooks Newmark
Lord Feldman
Lord Chadlington
Matt Hancock
Julian Lewis
Andrew Percy
Steve Brine
Esther McVey
Lord Deighton
Baroness Mone
Dominic Cummings
Grant Shapps
David Meller
Michael Gove
Julia Lopez
Andrew Feldman
Penny Maudant

Yep, Lords, Ministers, SPADs and donors from all parties across the political spectrum .......... oh, hang on a minute, they all appear to be from a single party. That can't be right, can it ???

I am not aware of any member of one of the opposition parties who has granted government contracts so that their assorted friends and relations could enrich themselves whilst the country was in crisis. Nope. Can't think of one.

The "they are all as bad as each other" argument in order to deflect blame away from the rotten, corrupt Tories isn't really going to wash.

But if you need to blame someone, there is only one man up to that job. Bloody Jeremy Corbyn!!
oh I’m certainly not trying to deflect blame from this bunch we are currently saddled with what so ever, so I don’t need it to ‘wash anything’ The point I was making is that an in depth no holds barred investigation kicking up the leaves, turning every stone, shining the brightest of lights on the whole shady issue is most likely a pipe dream as whoever would be investigating would be shit scared of uncovering unpleasantries that taint more that the intended targets.

This one isn't going away...

Tory peer Michelle Mone is to take a leave of absence from the Lords "to clear her name", amid allegations she benefitted from a company she recommended for a Covid contract.

This government's purpose is to take public money and put it into the hands of private individuals. They only serve themselves.
The whole MP expenses scandal of a few years ago is going to seem incredibly trivial when this whole thing is fully exposed

Her house is up for sale, so I wonder if she's doing a runner?

I love the way she says she supported Labour - until they put her taxes up. Then said she would leave the country but didn't. Then said she would leave Scotland if they voted for independence but then left anyway. Then married a billionaire. Then can't remember how to get into her messages when someone claimed she sent a racist one. I'm mean, we've all done it, haven't we?

More likely cashing in on and then offshoring all her assets so they can’t be got at by any court order. And she can claim she only has £3.34 to her name.

The most outrageous part of all of this is how little Mone has actually particiapted in the HoL since 2015. I don't suppose anyone would have noticed if she had just slunked off.
Put their by Cameron together with my old MP aged just 39 when she lost her seat due to Brexit

The sooner we get Lords reform the better, Lord Lebedev of Siberia was the moment things were shown to be totally out of control

One of the quite bonkers thing this and the modern world of privilege money access friendship and social media is the seemingly ex-friend of the said Lord, Carol (2 from the top) Vorderman is in full ranting mode on Twitter about the allegations.

I'm never quite sure these days where Hansard starts and Hello Magazine ends.

Is Carol genuinely concerned about PPE contracts or was she sold a bad fitting bra ?

You mean the expenses scandal that Tony Blair waved away and trivialised by saying 'everybody does it'?

Mone and Medpro are merely the tip of a multi-billion pound pandemic profiteering scandal engineered by a thoroughly corrupt government. Of all the crappy things this government has done, exploiting the pandemic as a commercial opportunity for its mates is surely the worst.

There are no words for the anger and contempt I feel towards them.
