They are six nil down before half time. They are NOT a decent team.

I've seen pub teams defend better. This sort of game just puts the game back years in the minds of some.

Any team can have a bad day. We’ve lost 6-0 to West Ham in the past.

I’m glad that the license payer is funding this sort or retweet at the BBC:

“Stevo: Wow. Just like watching the Seagulls beat Man U a couple of months back...plus a few more goals.”

They are a good team but they having a bad day at the office, and we're having a great one. Brazil weren't a shit team just because they conceded 7 against Germany!
But unlike that Brazil game, you wouldn't analyse four of the goals and conclude a pub team ought to keep them out.

Sorry but that is complete bollox, when we beat Germany 5-1 in Munich they weren't a 'pub team', when Germany beat Brazil 7-0 they weren't a 'pub team'. sometimes, just sometimes. teams at their peak have everything come together.

You can either appreciate it or try to put them down. Your call

You’d have to say though, I agree with Simster, it could have been 10. By halftime. Professional footballers shouldn’t give up, England actually have been quite wasteful. I’ve not seen defending like that outside parks football. Seriously bad. Finally a pundit willing to spell out what Norway were on now.

You will find plenty of people on the thread after the Brazil Germany game concluding that Brazil defended like a village team without some drip insisting Germany should be appreciated and Brazil shouldn't be put down.

I'm not any sort of enemy of women's football by pointing out Norway's defence was as bad as any defence that I've seen watching football on telly. Sorry.

Actually though, Germany weren’t that bad if memory serves, we only had 6 shots on target, 10 in total - we just finished ruthlessly but Germany actually weren’t poor.

Fair enough

But I do suspect I have been at more 'pub' football than yourself having spent over 20 years seeing Brighton Junior Division 13 up to Brighton Intermediate Division 1 'pub' football at very very close quarters. And this lot are still quite a few levels up from that

Record Breakers

This England side are now record Breakers, no side has ever scored 7 at a Euro finals before.

Absolute bullet header for the 7th,no keeper is stopping that.

I haven’t said Norway’s defence is any good tonight. I said Norway are a decent team. I watched them play against Austria where they played well.
