Maybe I've just missed something here, but it all seems very simple to me.
The club needs to raise money and quickly.
They have asked the supporters of this club if they can possibly help out.
If you can, then fantastic. If you can't you can't.
What have I missed? Those of you who are unhappy, what exactly did you want them to do instead? Get horrendous behind on Vat and be forced into Administration, perhaps. Oh yes, that would have been a great plan. We need cash, and we are trying to address it. I really don't see the problem. No-one is being threatened with a banning order if you don't pay.
It just seems that a lot of people are using it as an excuse to have another go at the board for basically not having the personal fortune of dear old Roman of Chelsea.
