When SCP-born Gütersloher completed 65 games. As captain he had large share in the Bundesliga promotion. Besides Christian Strohdiek (Fortuna Dusseldorf), Jens Wemmer (Panathinaikos), Alban Meha (Konyaspor), Patrick Ziegler (1 FC Kaiserslautern), Elias Kachunga (FC Ingolstadt), Mario Vrancic (SV Darmstadt 98) and Lukas Rupp (VfB Stuttgart ) is one of eight players Hünemeier that the SCP has lost from the inner circle of the starting eleven. Heavy loss for SC Paderborn: captain Uwe Hunemeier is transferred to English 2nd Division team Brighton and Hove Albion. The team announced this on Tuesday morning. The transfer fee is 2.5mn Euros; with that Hunemeier is the most expensive summer signing of the "Moven" ("Seagulls"). The blue and white's most famous player is Bobby Zamora who played twice for the English national team.

The Gutersloh-born player played 65 games for SCP and as captain he made a big contribution to them getting promoted. (Then there's a load of other stuff about other players they've lost blah blah).

Have you contacted the Club to offer your services as translator ?

Of course. He will already speak perfect English ........................

Right - probably has since the age of 10 or something. So Dick Knights Mutti, I'll have to stick to the day job.

I'm drawing a blank; who was the last German player for Brighton? Dirk Lehmann?
