I'd only recline at night when everyone else is, probably look behind to check first. But I have now stopped flying last one 3 years ago, train and boat it.

It does depend on the flight, but reclining during meal service is pretty much always unacceptable.
IMO, all flights without much space between seats should have non-reclining seats, as many now do.

Totally unacceptable. A swift ‘accidental’ knock with something sharp or heavy needed.
When the food is served, sacrifice the fork.

In the end I played a game of “this little piggy went to market”. I’d say she laughed but she was snoring and snorting and blissfully unaware but it was enough to move the trotter.

Hot coffee over the foot is the only way.
The second that fat trotter came through I would slap it, turn to the pig whose foot it was and let them know in no uncertain terms that behaviour is not going to repeated. Or any other revolting, anti social habits she has.
