Souza's agreed to join Leicester. Done deal.

Wonder where the club who have made a distinct policy of employing foreign flairsmith managers with a dedication to quality football might look next?!!

Don't think he'd go right now but can we be sure?

There is a chance as he is quite pally with their chairman if but lets hope he sees sense and stays with us. I think he`ll stay. Check the bookies odd lunchtime for a reasonable view as they has Sousa 1-4 to be Leicester manager last week

I'd like to think that as he's spent 5 years learning management as an assistant through the lower leagues with Wise, that he'll want to have a stable development as a manager.

Jumping up the divisions rarely works IMO. But what do I know? Little probably.

I'm worried, uh oh. Not ou of the realms of imagination and a step up :( but what would he do with the Argentinians and Tariccio? It certainly won't help with a settled preseason unless he comes out in the next few days and states his intentions.

Really? The division difference aside, which will hopefully be irrelevant at the end of this coming season, how the heck can going to Swansea City be seen as a step up from BHA?!?!

Gary Speed? Is John Hartson fit again yet?

I didn't even know Pearson had left Leicester to be honest. They do have a bad habit of pinching other clubs' managers (and then failing)- Holloway, McGhee etc

At this moment in time, but I think we are a better long term prospect. Gus will gain more credibility by building his own team here, in one of the best places to live and one of the best new stadiums only a year away.

But would I be shocked if he went?, No.

Unlikely that Poyet will just up sticks and leave having spunked a fortune rebuilding his squad.

Exactly, and he knows that Bloom's henchmen would find him, no matter where he hid, from the Russian Steppes to The Outback, Poyet would be running for the rest of his natural life.

Being serious, too much of Poyet's personal legwork has gone into this project, and while he might bog off in a season or two, I don't think there is any chance of it happening before then.

Because they are in a higher league which I would say is a pretty big motivation in any decision and they already have a nice ground. Would anyone choose Brighton at the moment (not next season or 5 years down the line) over Swansea?
Not saying he is going but until they appoint someone else will be a little bit concerned.
No need for him to come out and say I'm not going though otherwise he will spend half his time saying not going for this job or that job

This.

Unlikely that Poyet will just up sticks and leave having spunked a fortune rebuilding his squad. Will Swansea even want a manager who would think nothing of walking out in 6 months time?

I agree completely that he's unlikely to leave, but what's the rest about?

a. He has spent NOTHING so far 'rebuilding the squad'.

b. even if he had, its not HIS fortune, and wouldn't in itself br a reason, not to go.
