Mirror saying that Rowett is being targeted by Norwich and that's why he has been sacked. Would make more sense .....
Would make more sense to not sack him, and negotiate a hefty compensation package.

So Zola will be up all night watching videos of Birmingham so he can pick his team, and videos of us so he can plan his tactics.
Fingers crossed this plays into the Albion's hands, but assuming Zola's the man I can't help thinking we'd be better off playing them in a few games time.
Give Zola a couple of games to screw the team up, as opposed to 'one last effort' for Rowett.
Looking ahead though, I'm more certain of 3 points in April, assuming Zola is still the manager then!
I wouldn't go that far, hopefully they are to 'stunned' to play. But Stat Bruv, Do you not think that if the players trusted and like Rowett - as they seem to do - they will "protest" on
Saturday by not trying?

I think Zenga is still available ?
Really ?
Watford was playoffs in his first season, but lower midtable halfway through the next, and he's failed abjectly in 2 more jobs in Italy and Qatar (!!) since then. Personally, I'd be (1) absolutely STEAMING at the sacking of Rowett, and (2) gutted and underwhelmed if the replacement is indeed Zola.
Typical clueless Chinese owners strike again.
Talk of Zola, lovely guy, pretty shoddy track record.
Zola officially appointed - could well not be good news for Saturday now. Hopefully there's some mini turmoil though.
