As I mentioned in a different thread, groupon a currently offering adult tickets in the main stand for a tenner each.

If you are already a member of groupon, you can recommend a new user and earn £6 credit to your groupon account. It's free to register and after our current form, it should be a great incentive to watch our in-form team at a very reasonable price.

I dont know why you take the piss seems like a good idea

Those kind of offers can come back to bite the club. It can lead to people always waiting for the next offer thus reducing potential full price sales for other matches. But yes palace, even with their current good form, need to pull all the stops in order to attract fans. I don't envy them.

£10 to watch Zaha dive in the box, and Murray to score a penalty, rather than an exciting game? No thanks. Palace's form comes from penalties rather than decent display of football.

Are they all scurrying around on the BBS inviting "mates", who have never been to a football game, to the match in a desperate attempt to get a half decent crowd? Some hilarious comments on there last season when they did the same thing.

And they call us plastics :wanker:

Crap Town
18k tops ( of which about 50% paying normal price :D)

Burnley might be taking 1,000+ , take off the non attending STH's and they might get 13,000 Palace fans actually in the ground

If they can't get people through the door at full price while they are the Division's most in form team, then they never will

But would they be Palace fans or just plastics ?

No they're hardcore football fans who just haven't been to watch Palace for a while. If you remember - they don't have plastic fans, only real fans, Brighton and Hove Albion has the sole monopoly on plastic fans.

And don't forget they have the best and most loyal fanbase in the League, the two best wingers in the League, the best goalie in the League, the best academy in the northern hemisphere (it puts Barca's La Masia to shame you know), the richest owners, the best and wittiest songs, the most incredible atmosphere at games. They could go on (and they often do).

The only reason they finished 17th last year was because they had some injuries and some cup games you know. INCREDIBLE club, Palace. Absolutely incredible.

You forgot the best young manager in England too. Although we have to sweep under the carpet that the majority wanted him sacked a month ago or so

Sorry but I don't understand this groupon thingy thing. Who gets what? Palace can't shift tickets so this groupon (who ever they are) sell tickets for a tenner etc but who makes the profit?

Someone please explain :(

Groupon do.

Palace will be getting 4.70-5.50 a ticket, roughly.
