6-0 (I think it was the 50s)

Sorry T B but you are wrong.
We played Palace a total of 18 times during the 50's, we won 11 ,they won 3 and 4 were drawn.
Our biggest win was 5-0, their biggest win was 6-0.

Hereford anyone?
But seriously I would want to go back in time to Chesterfield in 2002? When Bobby kicked the ball out of their keepers hands, was anybody there? If so can you explain how mad their players went and why the hell the referee gave the goal.

Which one would you choose?

Personally it would be to Watch our Charity Shield Final

Im loving this thread Arty, brings light to the board in a time of too many Stains threads.

For me I would choose Newcastle and the top flight promotion. I remember sitting glued to the radio that afternoon. None of the goals when seen on the TV was anything like they were in my mind but who cares. I would also like to get f***ing rat arsed on the train home also!

One I went to - Hereford away.
One I didn't - The F.A. Cup Final. God I wish I was alive to experience that.

for me brighton v donny 2-1 august 2011.

the previous season,
the summer leading up to the first game at the new stadium,
the build up,
the day,
the match,
the atmosphere,
the result,
the emotion,
the feeling of being on top of the world come the 98th minute.

simply perfect!

I'd say either Newcastle away in '79, FA Cup vs Liverpool in '83 or home to Donny at the start of this season... Can't believe I missed it because we were on holiday.

As Gotsmanov will testify I missed the Hereford game due to some missplaced juvenile desire to get my end away. RiDUNKulous I know, but for that reason I choose Edgar St and the most important game of our entire history.
