Just gone over to the west of Burgess Hill and looked like under carriage is down but whether it is locked is another matter. Seems to be out over the channel now so that is one big circle.

Just flown over BN2, SE direction - so low that I could see the aircrafts livery.

Now turning back towards land, got a little bit on video

My source's update.

"also an issue with engine 4. Dumping fuel and burning rest before attempted land".

Apologies if this is completely false. Either way hope all on board land safely.

still not landed!, maybe did a fly over to get a visual on the landing gear

Thats right. It will be flying low so engineers can see what position it is in.
It has taken off for Vegas and all but the front wheels have retracted, it will need to land obviously but the crew probably dont know if it is down and locked if there is hydraulic problems.
This happened to me many years ago when landing at Gatwick they did not know if the wheels were locked down and said they may need to do a belly landing, we were all in the safety posistions and the passengers were silent, i absolutely **** myself but it was all ok but we were met by all the rescue vehicles etc.
