We’ve been selling our PotS for the last few years haven’t we.
I don’t think £15m is out the question seeing that Pascal’s strengths (stamina, technique and footballing brain) are not likely to leave him for some time.
Like you say, if he had an offer of Champions League football, I’d feel a...
Realistically, only Dunk can trump him as our GOAT.
Forget Ward & Lawrenson etc. Those players never got a sniff of smashing European heavyweights like Ajax and Marseilles.
He is astonishing.
He is Brighton through and through. He encapsulates our ‘peak Brighton’ journey.
Looking at our first EPL season, the best thing about Pascal (other than the Groß-Turn) is his shooting. Now that he has got permission to play very high, his shooting is still first class.
He had a very good run partnering Biss in central midfield as a deep lying playmaker.
But I agree with you. I think Groß is one of the best at shooting in the team (that’s the important bit in football and our weakest area under Potter!).
At last, Potter has started to play him in a position...
I like it when Groß is played higher up the pitch and can shoot. He has been class recently, his shooting has been stunning, he almost got the winner against Southampton but sadly, VAR gave the horrific linesman the benefit of the doubt.
He was good in the ‘deep lying’ playmaker role alongside the likes of Bissouma but his goals are so very welcome now that he is playing further up the pitch. Hopefully the contract extension news is only days away for he is a free agent in a month or so.
Me too.
Especially with the rumours that he has signed a pre-contract with Werder.
For me, Alzate is his natural replacement and will become a better player.

Me neither.
I think Potter has made it clear (with his selections) that Lallana, Moder, Mwepu and now Mac Allister are all ahead of Pascal when it comes to selection.
It’s not that Pascal has dropped off in from, it’s just that the sort of assists we see from Mwepu & Moder allied to the goals...
