...namely which three Brighton players to pick for the Fantasy Football squad next season?
I realise there's an NSC league and some people might want to be secretive, but I harbour no hopes of winning anyway, so I don't mind sharing.
I picked my squad weeks ago thinking that we'd be fine at...
Story: http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jan/14/isis-hackers-north-korean-airline-facebook
The message? “North Korea the communist thug nation and the Chinese communist thugs will pay a price for their collaboration with the enemies of the muwahideen”.
I might be being stupid, but what...
Yes, yes - it's another thread about Sami. It's one specific question though...
Over several threads the question is asked - when will Tony change his mind and fire Sami? Will it be after Wolves? Will it be at the end of the year, or when we're bottom of the league in January?
Question here -...
Firstly, apologies if this is fixtures. I did a search for "Squawka" and didn't find it......
Anyway, those boffins at Squawka have apparently analysed every kick of every game and come up with the following table for performances in the Championship so far this season. We should be delighted...
Channel 4's new trailer for the Paralympics:
Looks incredible IMHO, and calling the athletes 'superhuman' isn't far wrong.
I'm massively excited about the Olympics, but even once they are over the Paralympics should provide some great sporting action.
Good people of NSC, I have been invited to give a reading at a wedding of two close friends of mine in September, and couldn't think of anywhere better to come for suggestions.
The only rules really are that it cannot be in any way religious, or entirely comical (the bride approved of my...
Yes, it's a Daily Mail link so some might not like it, but they have an article on the best players in each position for the greatest Premier League team of all time.
Somehow they've missed Gus Poyet from the list of greatest midfielders, but still - anyone care to venture their team (and...
Amazing advert, and amazing reponse to complaints: “I don’t think apologising is Nando’s style"
Full article: http://www.zimeye.org/?p=40940
Straight to the advert:
Hi all,
Anyone else out there set up all chants etc for the Albion on Fifa 12?
I've set mine up, and all the chants work during the match, but I can't get GOSBTS to play as entry music. The track (and playlist) play fine just on the Xbox itself, so the file must be fine - FIFA 12 just refuses...
Spotted a "Special Edition" of the Daily Express with this lovely headline, and it made me think... "I wonder what the good people of NSC would do if there was a referendum on this today".
So - given that we probably need something to distract us from SheepShaggerGate... here's a poll to keep...
Strange question perhaps, but I ask after hearing that a Leeds supporter here has just bought his girlfriend a Man Utd shirt (personalised with HIS name, not hers - they're not married) for her birthday. She does support Man U. "It's what she wanted".
I like to think that if my girlfriend asked...
Just thinking for the Doncaster game on Saturday - do you think the players will break with tradition and play towards the home fans in the North Stand in the first half, just in the hope that the first ever [competitive] goal can be there, rather than in front of the Doncaster fans?
(It's all...
Haven't spotted this anywhere on here yet, but our Friday night game against Leeds has been confirmed as live on Sky...
Nothing on our site yet, but it's here: http://www.leedsunited.com/news/20110705/hammers-trip-among-tv-picks_2247585_2386660
Sorry if fixtures, didn't spot it elsewhere...
On Betfair we are now trading at 1.6 (8/13) to qualify for the play-offs. Unbelievable! The third lowest price on there.
(We are also 9.4 - about 17/2 - for the title)
This should keep everyone entertained on a Friday...
Reading the burglary thread made me think about this one. A lot of people wrote that they might take action themselves if they were being burgled, which is one thing that I'm not going to argue with here, but it was also suggested on the same...

Not sure if this has been on here yet, but this is just ridiculous, and a little bit childish.

Any Outlook/Word experts out there?
I'm being driven to insanity by the damn software - my e-mail signature reverts to Times New Roman every time I create an e-mail, even though it's definitely set to Calibri. I can open the editor (either the basic or advanced one) and it shows up normally...
The Carling Cup is the current name of the English Football League Cup, or League Cup.
Like the FA Cup, it is played on a knockout (single elimination) basis. Unlike the FA Cup where 762 teams entered in 2008–09 only 92 clubs can enter: the twenty clubs of the Premier League, and the 72 clubs...
