Anyone know of any pubs in Brighton that do beer flights?
Got family over from Canada where brew pubs doing flights is pretty common place but not something you see much over here. Does the great wisdom of NSC know of any decent places that do them?
Following the draft I think it's time to start the 2021 thread for the upcoming season.
News out today is the planned return of NFL games to London post pandemic.
Both at Spurs (boo) we should get the joy of...Jet v Falcons (10th Oct) and Dolphins v Jags (17th Oct)
With a hopefully normal(ish) summer on the horizon we've started tidying up the garden this weekend ready for the return of BBQ season.
Now I love my charcoal bbq, its a solid bit of kit that's lasting really well but I'm looking to supplement it with a gas bbq too for those occasions where a...
Yes he’s back, but what’s your favourite Ulloa moment?
Debut goal v Arsenal. Mertesacker who? Says Leo as he’s meets Barnes’s cross to plant a diving header in to the gunners net.
Header v Palace. Power and strength personified. Not the prettiest of finishes but it’s against the scum so who...
Given how the new shirt has turned out is it time for a break from the stripes?
If Nike can't (or won't) produce a shirt that has a break in the stripes, and if the American Express logo has to be in a solid box then do we need to look at an alternative?
One of better designs posted by someone...
As it's a well known FACT* that Joe Cole is on his way here and Ashley is now leaving Chelsea how about we get them both in. We're in need of a left back now Ward has gone.
:dunce:
*unsubstantiated rumour
Approximately 39 minutes into the game last night my mate asked what I though of Rob Green. I replied that I though he was the right choice and had earned the shirt with some good performances in the qualifying games and friendlies and had made some good saves...I had barely finished when he...
So has Gus really lost the plot or has Bloom lost his cash?
So far we've cleared Mcleod and Livermore of the wage bill and loaned out Davies, Dicko, Tunni and potentially Cox which must also free up some cash. No contracts are currently on offer to anyone (mentioning no El-Abds here). So is...
Can you name the top 200 goal scorers in the Premier League...I bloody can't, I only got to 81 before my pea sized brain ran out of ideas

***yes I do know that we all hate the fact that it seems like statistics only began with the premier...
Came on for LA Galaxy as a 70th min sub for David Beckham in their 3-1 win over New York.
I wonder how playing at Giants Stadium compares to bench warming at Withdean?
Confirmed as Sunderland boss on a three year contract.
Given that he never seems to stay anywhere longer than a season or two and has zero loyalty what odd on him seeing out that deal?

Bizzarre idea from the snooker bods to try and inject a bit of excitment into the game following the success of Twenty20 for cricket.
Wonder what other ideas they have, maybe playing loud music everytime a ball is potted :jester:
Right, I know we have a fair few aficionados of Sussex's finest brew, but can anyone tell me why in the summer (August inparticular) it's such a bitch to pull. I do a couple of shifts a week in a pub and the Harveys has gone totally froth-tastic in the past week or so. What's all that about?
John Terry is rubbish and a bully and a thug and a racist and crys and is only like the eighth best centre back in the league after Ferdinand, King, Woodgate, King, Lescott, King, Richards, King and my mum. He shouldn't be in the England team let alone be captain..........
John Terry...
Right, I'm thinking of going to Wembley for the England v USA game at the end of May.
Looking at tickets they seem to be £60 for the lower tier (bit pricey), £50 for the middle and £40 or £30 for the upper.
For those who have been before, what's the view like from up top or is the extra money...
Big weekend in the NFL.
The crapper than crap Miami Dolphin have avoided becoming the first to lose every game in a season, by beating Baltimore, they now have a 1-13 record.
The Pats remain undefeated at 14-0.
And Brett Favre beat Dan Marino's all time passing yards record.
