I know people tend to not notice stickys so excuse the new thread. There is still time to donate to the Christmas appeal as it doesn't finish until 29th Jan. I know some people had problems donating before Christmas, but I just tried and it worked fine for me. £1500 pledged so far, but still...
If possible could an E-Cash balance be printed the receipt when buying something using a season card? At present I always have to ask the salesperson.
When my phone credit falls below £2 I receive an automated text to tell me, which I find very useful. In the same vein, could an email and/or...

I think I've picked up on the most important story.

NEWS UPDATE

Football Stadium
We have been informed by BHA football club of their intention to submit two planning applications for car parking on the stadium site. This is...
Newcastle's attendance of 52181 against Ipswich on Saturday was the first crowd of over 50000 for a league game outside the top division for quite a few years.
Which team last achieved this?
I saw what could only be a section of the West Stand arch on the back of a lorry in a layby on the A23 at Handcross Hill this evening about 5:10pm.
Happy days!
Just saw an advert for this loan company which I had never previously been aware of. Average APR 2356%. I assumed they had missed a decimal point, but no it really is 2356%, not 23.56%
Pretty shameless exploitation of the poor, stupid and desperate IMO. Bring back usury laws.

Supposing this happens and one of...
Barca have played 30 matches this season, including friendlies. They have now scored 94 goals and have notched up 5 or 6 goals in ten matches.
Amazing.
I didn't know anything about this until today, which is surprising given the scale of the development. I doubt this will go to a public inquiry despite being of a comparable size to the stadium and presumably within an AONB. I am unaware of any complaints from Baker, De Vecchi et al.

Martins Stadium Blog: Stadium Funding | Brighton and Hove Albion | News | Stadium Diary
Doesn't reveal anything new on the funding, but does explain why the field has been ploughed...
I'm pretty sure I remember Martin Perry mentioning that the club were applying to the Football Foundation for a grant from the Football Stadia Improvement Fund at the Falmer Roadshow in February. Has this grant been awarded yet, and are we asking for the full £2M?
Is there any chance the stadium diary on the club web site could be updated a little more frequently? I'm sure I'm not alone in finding it a source of reassurance that things are progressing behind the scenes with building Falmer.
