That video? That one video on Youtube shows that?

I think you will find that i have posted many videos over a period of time and have expressed how i feel many times....which is why the poster came to the conclusion he did about this particular culture. Many do not agree with my views, some have gone decidedly quiet since the euphoria of letting in all and anyone since European countries and Germany have had a change of direction. The clamor to take in a refugee has quietened. You seem obsessed with this one video as if it is the only one...huh.

Speaking of Germany, HT has gone very quiet after his everybody in the Fatherland were welcoming......

Crikey, glad i did not suggest that.
Anyway, that seems a bit unfair (if you were serious) on those here that have different religions and cause no trouble, integrate and support the British way of life, that's why i have stated many times that most are no trouble and we rub along quite nicely.

a nice thought Soulman

but sadly the British way of life doesn't figure to highly on the agenda

building mosques, wearing head gear and treating women like 2nd class citizens are

No I wasn’t being entirely serious, but I don’t like religion anyway so everything appears a little surreal to me. It probably had its place as part of our early human philosophy and awareness years but it has been rewritten and abused for so long now it should be consigned to the history books. For me we live in a world where I have to tolerate all religions not just Islam.

When you get Bush saying;

'I am driven with a mission from God'. God would tell me, 'George go and fight these terrorists in Afghanistan'. And I did. And then God would tell me 'George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq'. And I did.": "And now, again, I feel God's words coming to me, 'Go get the Palestinians their state and get the Israelis their security, and get peace in the Middle East'. And, by God, I'm gonna do it."

It just inflames the situation because he makes us in the West look like we are supporting someone as nutty as Bin Laden.

You have to agree that this sort of talk makes the West looks quite extreme as well?

There is no place for religion in politics, simple as that. Politics is about dealing with the real world, not imaginary friends, this is the 21st century, we can fly to the moon, explore space, but some still believe the world was created in 7 days :ffsparr:

I agree. It is basically an old fashioned moral belief system, but one we share in our recent past. A Catholic marrying a Protestant caused problems and family splits just as one example. Wedding vows up until recently was about the woman to "honour and obey".

As a society we are still going through learning tolerance and equal rights for women ourselves.

Personally in the current climate I would only take in refugees if they converted to Christianity or Atheism, pledge allegiance to the country, and sing the national anthem. Maby drink some holy water and eat a bacon sandwich as well.

We can't keep on agreeing like this - people will talk.Yes, this happened here some years ago, and you are right, we did go through this. I can recall in the mid 80s being in the Sgts Mess at a military barracks, and three metres this side of the bar was a line drawn in chalk on the floor, behind which the wives were not allowed to pass! But as to holy water and bacon sarnie -well steady on there . . .

I think he might have been referring to the German one -well worth a watch, if you are genuinely interested in the topic.

Yep, certainly an eye-opener, you wonder whether Merkel would have been so keen on opening up the borders had she watched that herself. Interesting the soul-searching, kind of guilt-tripping they are still going through because of the war. Bending over backwards to accommodate. Interesting also the interview with the Turkish family that people above are talking about. Bear in mind, Turkey is, in theory at least, a secular country, certainly more moderate than most others, they even drink beer !! Many of those arriving now are likely to be much more hardline in their views

The trouble is though, playing devil’s advocate, with regard to wives and daughters, no man really wants to see them slutting about having affairs, different boyfriends, drinking every week and dealing with teenage pregnancies etc.

I am pretty sure that it was almost accepted pre-80’s in Britain, that men could beat their wives.

I had a friend at school whose dad killed his wife in a fit of rage because of an affair she was having and I guess that could be called an honour killing. He got sentenced to two years for diminished responsibility, but served one in an open prison and was then released. I would say that is too lenient in favour of the man.

But going back to my first point a Muslim man's view is not too dissimilar to a Western man's view regarding his wife and daughters. We are almost trying to get them to say “I’m happy for my wife to have affairs and I am happy for my daughter to get drunk every week and to have a teen pregnancy with an unknown father.” Can any of us say this?

Strict husbands and parenting goes on everywhere so it is hard to just tell Muslims not to be strict when it is not just them who are.
yes , we need to be careful, if muslims start treating their women as different to ours and make them live seperate lives we could end up with gangs of muslim men exploiting under age white girls sexually......oh wait.

Absolutely nothing to do with my comment so I don't know why you started with "yes" in agreement.

Yep, a sick paedo, rightfully outed and boy was he outed, pages and pages of text for months.....meanwhile we had muted reports on "Asian" (don't mention they were Muslim) grooming children in many cities.....many cities that unless you scoured the papers you would not be aware of.....and all so it would not upset those that must not be upset, in case it causes racial tension.
Now there are many English paedos, but with only a stated amount of 2.7% of Muslim population....it is fairly serious.
