Watched it for the first time last night and thought it was OK, at least it is on a lot earlier than previously.

Saw it for the first time last night. It reminds me of when ITV take over a sport. It tries to hard to be something different.Football highlight shows need to be simple. Set up main matches with a little bit of context, show action from game, a bit of analysis, bam, onto next game/games. It doesn't need special guests, or an audience or presenters standing around awkwardly.

To be honest, I thought the 1st show was a bit shaky but it's definitely improving. The two hosts are good and seem to have good chemistry and Virgs has settled in nicely (although he needs to stop looking directly into the camera when someone else is talking!).

All the parts are fitting together a bit better now and it's orders of magnitude better than ITV highlights and the lack of Claridge can only be a good thing.

Compared with the very first show it was a masterpiece! Dropped the silly revolving league tables, now showing the games in league order and no comments from the studio audience. If you'd seen the first edition you'd think this was a big improvement.

So who are the two Brighton supporters in the crowd tonight. Anyone admitting to it on here?

Not that I'm complaining about seeing anything Brighton on TV...but must have been strategically placed for that camera shot!!!

It's fair to say Chl 5 aren't big on sentiment.
